Hi all,

A couple months back, I received an email from bct noting that someone changed email in my original account. I quickly confirmed that my password was changed as well. I had no choice but chose to lock my account to prevent further losses.

Now I would like to recover the old account, which currently points to an email that does not belong to me. Nor do I have the password to it. In addition, I don't recall I have set recovery questions.

Any help is appreciated.

You'll need to sign a message from a staked address as explained in this thread: Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords

Thank you, TryNinja.

I am not sure if I still possess that bitcoin address... I will give it a shot.

This thread belongs to Meta. It would only get the response it requires if it's in that section.
Move it there now or when you get access to the address and sign a message that would be the proof of the account being yours.

How to sign a message?!

After posting your signed message here: Stake your Bitcoin address here made by tomatocage. Move your topic in Meta thread or PM theymos or cyrus regarding your account issue.
