I think that it is too early to make such comparisons, the cryptocurrency is not yet ready to replace Fiat.

I think between alternative coins and flat currency is much better to choose alternative coins although flat currency is good and profitable but alternative coins is more good currency and profitable.

Trust in fiat is still to strong, most people are sheeps. Crypto is also to difficult to use for most non tech people and we have some scaling issues etc. I think the future is bright but there are a lot of problems we need to overcome.

When people trade alt coins and btc for Fiat obviously winner will be fiat, nowadays people trade to earn more FIAT money from trading Cryptocurrencies but when the norm changes that people will trade money for cryptocurrencies then maybe it can win over Fiat. Let's be honest here we sell and trade then sell our cryptoccurency whenever we need something we tend to sell it for Fi

2019 the year of Battle between cryptocurrencies and Fiat Currencies.

Who is the winner?

There will not have the winner right now because the cryptocurrency can not replace the fiat at this time. In the future, maybe Cryptocurrency replace Fiat but it need more time to this thing happens

Both of them will run according to their functions, and there are no winners, I think that fiat is still used by the community to meet their daily needs, and crypto is still used to trade in the crypto world itself and needs a process if it will be used as fiat.

I would say that fiat will win, because fiat is still more of a legal tender than coins. Some countries are still having controversies over cryptocurrency. Crypto will surely still have its relevance, but in my opinion fiat will still be more in use and larger percentage of world population might prefer fiat to crypto. Some other reasons why fiat will win is the volatility of crypto, whole fiat is still more stable. Also crypto does not yet have a legal backing.

FIAT remains stable and cannot be denied because everyone uses FIAt.
Just look at how the Tether is still standing in the top 10 coinmarketcap and that proves that a lot of altcoins are sinking.
