Done some trading on Kraken, turns out wiring Euro to HK costs 40 Euro which I would rather avoid; I do have HSBC Premier, want some recommendation as to where in Europe should I open a bank account through HSBC that would allow SEPA transfer?  I prefer not to pay any monthly fee on the bank account.

Thanks.

You mean HK as in Hong Kong? It's not quite clear what you mean.

SEPA is available throughout Europe with a few exceptions (Cyprus and Faroe Islands, I think).

All SEPA does it make it easier to transfer money within the EU (allegedly). I just tried transferring cash from a bank in Denmark to Kraken, and it stated I would be stung for 200 kroner (about £22). Transfer was made on Thursday, money is not yet at Kraken. Apparently SEPA transfers take 1-4 business days.

But anyway, SEPA is EU to EU bank transfers, but individual banks can still decide charges (maybe they are limited to a degree).
