There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Add: Satoshi is a front for US Naval Intelligence.

Now pips from US Naval Intelligence not only want to visit various websites covertly hiding in the tor crowd, they also want to make payments covertly using bitcoins.


Makes sense to me.

This is my view, also. I don't think any of the regular posters on the forum are Satoshi.

He could also feel like he's done enough and just wants to watch it evolve on it's own.

Also possible he's not one guy but a group of coders / whoever.

I'm honestly not going to get too worked up about it. Fun to speculate though.
