You didn't have to own a MT.Gox account to be POOPed on. If you own bitcoin, you have lost a significant percentage of your coins' value to due the gross incompetence of MT.Gox. I like this idea, but i think it would be difficult to weed out scammers. If the community wants it, I will set aside a certain amount for those directly affected, but there will need to be a good distribution plan.

 I still feel that a general giveaway is good because everyone has been affected by the multiple Goxings that have ravaged bitcoin value.
