It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. With the project’s justification rooted in the need for healthy competition to advance innovation in the existing privacy oriented currencies, this project was born as a clone of Monero v0.11.0.0, where a bit of development by our team initially took place relative to the loose requirements for a small bounty project, but our work refused to stop there.
That very same group of individuals decided to continue their research and work together, believing that certain variants of Monero (XMR) were failing to provide viable contributions to either the parent project, the fork, or any of the communities and contributors involved. Regardless, we found ourselves in a position where our team genuinely wanted to continue improving upon what had already been built, but also have the ability to investigate and introduce our own innovations while allowing the community to openly, freely, actively contribute to the project as well.
With that being said, we would like to introduce Remix (RMX) as a currency and community we believe builds upon Monero (XMR) logically, philosophically, keeping true to core tenants and the general spirit of Monero while identifying, developing, and integrating improvements and optimizations that allows Remix to distinguish itself from Monero without disrupting it, or its community, by making slight modifications to XMR as a currency and simply relabeling and repackaging accordingly.
There is No promise of the monetary moon and no promise of flawless products. We will have setbacks, and issues will occur. If you seek only economic gain, please look elsewhere.
