This is fantastic project!  When exchange? 

Yes, PIRATE is a fantastic project, afaik komodo team is working on details for how centralised exchanges could list a coin like this with only anon z transactions by default. Some technical things to work out, but hopefully soon we can trade this wonderful addition to crypto privacy, fungible digital cash!

Can someone explain why centralized exchanges (eg binance/bittrex) will not list a only anon z transaction coin like this?

Some exchanges want to kyc devs now to list coins, or at least have a real person to deal with from the dev team. Also, with PIRATE the problem might be how to track down lost payments for support tickets, with anon z only transactions the exchange will need to factor in other ways to track deposits and withdrawals, they can't use a block explorer,  or payment Id's like monero. It's possible, they just need to be motivated to do the work, PIRATE isn't a regular  plug n play crypto, that's why it's so promising!

The only risk for PIRATE is that another similar z only asset chain gets launched that dilutes the value going into this super private anon coin for komodo ecosystem. Normally this is a huge problem in crypto i.e. there is no digital scarcity when the cost of cloning is effectively zero, so new comers prefer a  cheaper alternative to the expensive original, so we see litecoin and doge etc etc  

 As PIRATE is based around the existing komodo community though, i think there is much less risk of PIRATE clones diluting the value of the original inside the kmd ecosystem , and any PIRATE clones will appear in the ecosystems of komodo clones, which makes sense!

I think komodo will have only one PIRATE!

A test assetchain was created to test if private only assetchain does delayed Proof of Work notarisation as per the new code changes done by jl777, and the tests are successful.

PIRATE notarisation pushed to be added in KMD Notary Nodes.

Hope to have PIRATE blockchain secured with BTC hashrate via KMD soon.
