I am having a similar issue. I had a very basic GPU that was mining at 7.5 M/hash and yesterday i upgraded to an xfx radeon HD 6750 and GUI miner is reporting a speed of around 140 m/hash but in 6 hours i have no shares accepted. Any ideas?

What card did you have before? Perhaps you are trying to use the CUDA miner on the ATI card?

Hi everybody.

I just signed up for this forum, and I'm totally new to BC mining.
I think this thread is related to my issue, so I'm very sorry, if I'm wrong, but since the forum is very substantial in content,
I'm having big troubles even searching with the right keywords for my case.

I'll bring it on:

I downloaded GUIminer v2012-12-03.

I installed a wallet, and I created an account for it.
Then I joined up for pool mining with mining.bitcoin.cz, and I filled in the needed info about user, worker and wallet.

I have an ATi HD5770 graphics card, and when mining, GUIminer tells me, that I'm mining with a consistant 170 Mhash/s.
For 10 days I've been running almost 24/7, and yet my account at mining.bitcoin.cz tells me, that I haven't earned anything yet.

So being a bit wiser on the demands mining requires, I still need to find the answer to my basic problem.
To have you help me a bit easier, I'll share a few screenshots with you, and hopefully this will give you an easy task on my request.

I thank you in advance.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=186556.0

I had a problem where I couldn't get my HD 5770 making any shares and it turned out to be the SDK I was using. If your using the latest drivers for your GPU
then the chances are you have the most upto date SDK, you need to roll back to SDK 2.5 or 2.6? it's one of the two, there is a link in my original post for a download (hoping it's still active). If you download it you will have 3 files you can just replace in your system folder that should instantly fix your issue without needing to install it all again.

Btw, just make a New Post for your problem and people will be able to help you with more focus on your problem. This post has been resurrect from the dead, like a year old lol.

Good luck.

Thank you for your answer.
I'll try to look into your old post in link, and then I'll maybe make a new post, if I need further help.

I'd like though to know, why SDK is the issue, because when I at least have a rating of 170 Mhash/s it must be doing something right???

I don't think that I'm putting any stress on my CPU right now, because my CPU is idle, when nothing else happens, and my GPU runs 99% at 85 degrees Celsius, when
I'm mining right now.
