I get asked a lot about the meaning of orphan block rewards in the TenUp wallet. So I thought why not make a post about it. I’ll explain in English and Urdu so everyone gets my point.

www.tenup.io English ExplanationNow, the explanation. To understand what orphan blocks are, you need to understand a little about how blockchain works. Firstly, the blockchain is actually means a chain of blocks. So it’s like a single chain containing blocks rather than the knotted metals holding it together. What it means is that there is a chain of blocks, each containing its own number in the chain. For instance, block number 100 is the parent block and the next block that comes in line will be 101. So the 101 block is the child block. This is where the orphan blocks come into place. It is because staking wallets are constantly trying to solve the proof of stake algorithm, some times, two or more wallets staking might solve the same block number. For example if Three wallets solved block 101 then only one of them will be rewarded. What affects the winner includes factors like number of coins staking, block height, and so on (let’s keep it simple).
“Orphan block” in red are the blocks created by the wallet on staking, which do not become the part of the block chain.

Jab aap ka wallet staking per hota hai tou is ka kaam hota hai k 100 block ko solve kar k 101 block paida karay. Lekin agar esa ho raha hai k aap k bajaye 2 ya 3 wallets staking mode per saath hain Aur sab ne 101 block solve kiya same time per tou Sirf aik hi Wallet ko reward milega. Aur baaki wallets k block ko “orphan” bana diya jayega. In wallets me se winner Sirf aik hota Aur is winner ko chun’na kaafi saari cheezon Per depend karta hai. For example, block number, algorithm ki difficulty Aur kitnay coins staking per hain.
