If you own a domain name, chances are that sooner or later you will be contacted by one of these scammers. They tell you they are a professional broker representing a wealthy client who is ready to pay big bucks to buy your domain name. However, in order to accept the deal, this "client" needs a professional appraisal certificate only from a company they trust. The "broker" will provide you with the url of this company and will ask you to contact him again once you get the document. Needless to say that the so called "professional company" is a just a fake website hosted on a newly registered domain that the scammer has set up for the sole purpose of getting your $80 payment. When you get back to him, he's of course long gone.
I received one of these emails yesterday, but luckily I was aware of it. However, it's a scam that works very often with unaware people.
Beware!
