Hello everyone! We are proud to announce an upcoming hard fork of Pricecoin that will allow us to make core changes to the Pricecoin code and make ASICs obsolete. Today, I'm currently a student at Arizona State University completing a Computer Science major. I'm still very much involved in Pricecoin, and don't plan on giving it up anytime soon. In order for us to make the best decisions for the crypto community, we have created a poll that will help us determine parameters for the new fork. Answering the questions will help us out a lot! After this upcoming fork, we will be listing on multiple exchanges. In the past we've had bad luck with exchanges and due to this, we will only be using exchanges we deem to be trustworthy and reliable.
Please Note: We will avoid making these types of changes in the future if possible. We do not want to get in a habit of changing parameters that directly affect value and creation of the coins

First a little background. I'm 17 and have been involved in cryptocurrency for quite some time. Over this previous winter break, my cousin and I visited a crypto investment group in Florida. We learned a lot of information about market caps and block rewards. We really wanted to challenge ourselves. That same evening is when we started the Pricecoin Project. It took us several months to figure out all the various steps of creating altcoins. I think I got around 15 hours of sleep one week because of the vast amount of research I was doing. We ended up starting with the Litecoin source code. It's by far one of the easiest cryptocurrencies to understand and follow. We changed it to match our one desired outcome. Right now, many would perceive this as another shitcoin litecoin fork. My goal is to continue developing this coin into something special, I want it to be different. I've already received huge amounts of support and really appreciate anything you all have to say. I mentioned it on Reddit about a week ago, and we were able to setup a mining pool and block explorer the same day. We received a mention of our project on YouTube and had accumulated quite a lot of hashing power. I am currently on track to graduate this May and attend Arizona State University in the fall for Computer Science. Yesterday I had the opportunity to compile and test the new Pricecoin Source Code.
Because of this, I want to share the new features that will be coming to Pricecoin.
As you all know, our main goal was to change the algo to Scrypt-N. However, this is
not what we ended up implementing. We decided to introduce a newer algorithm known
as allium. Allium uses Scrypt-N and Lyra2rev loops. Those pesky ASICs won't be bothering
us anytime soon soon.
Secondly, instead of just modifying our existing older code, we decided to completely revamp
Pricecoin by updating it to the .16 codebase. The most recent code cryptocurrency's are using.
And finally, the feature I'm most excited to introduce. The new Pricecoin Core will accept the legacy
chain as well. No need for any coin swaps, wallets will merge as expected with no complications(tests still ongoing).

Now, all that being said, we still need to test out the functionality of the new wallet to ensure everything
works properly. The new code will not be pushed to the main github repo yet. If you want to mess around with
the new code and help test it out, it will be under the PricecoinTest repository.
