What is the difference of Bitcoin and Altcoin? Those two got me confused ey. Noobie here.
The difference between Bitcoin and Altcoin are BITCOIN is the original Cryptocurrency and ultimately responsible for the invention of Blockchain technology.while ALTCOIN are tokens on different Blockchains they may or may not have started via ICOs. That’s basically it. |

The market is made up of crypto currency. And here are two classifications of it, one is BTC and another is altcoin. Although their purpose is the same but the fact that altcoin came after BTC, they are known as the alternative coin, short for altcoin.

It is a crypto asset is well-equipped with its own framework of block chain network. While altcoins is called alternative digital cryptocurrency. Altcoins are tokens on different blockchains, they may or may not have started via ICOs. |

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency in the crypto world, other coins are either just a copy of bitcoin or they come up with features that are not available in Bitcoin. However, these Altcoins couldn't create a dent in the track record of Bitcoin so far despite coming up with exciting features.

Actually, Bitcoin and Altcoin are cryptocurrency. But Bitcoin has the special position compared to the rest and has the big influence with whole market. So, they seperate Bitcoin and Altcoin (the remaining crypto coins) |

There are too many crypto currencies existing in current time. we some tie hear it also that , some nation running their own crypto coin for their own.Among all of the coins, their goal are same but they are diffrent in their features and systems.Every coin use specific blockchain model.

Both Bitcoin and ALTs are crytocurrencies but Bitcoin is the pioneer of crypto industry and it is considered as the standard crypto. So, the value of all the ALTcoins are calculated by comparing against Bitcoin. The movement of these alts in the market also follows the movenment of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the original one, which got the consumers preference the most for that reason.
Is the first one who came out along with the creation of the blockchain technology and for those reasons the most valuable one by far. However, Ethereum is growing at a pace that rivals that of Bitcoin but it was released after which makes it less valuable.
Those are the main differences besides the functionality differences each coin have and if they are decentralized too or not.

it is a crypto currency. Just Bitcoin is the first currency that was created on the technology of the block chain. Altcoins are coins that are created later and have their own block chain, created in the likeness of bitcoin. Altcoyins are easier to invest, since they have a lower cost. |
