I sent some bitcoins from my mtgox to my wallet and not even showing up at all, while 2 more withdrawls from another site to my wallet are showing up and they were placed after it. Does mtgox usually take a while?

Hello,

We have had some delays with bitcoin withdrawals during the past week.  However, this issue has been resolved yesterday.  If you still do not see your bitcoins on blockexplorer or if you haven't received them, feel free to contact us at the support desk and we will look into it for you.  Sorry for the delay.

I had some similar issues, where it took close to 24 hours for a simple BTC withdrawal.

Would you care explaining why you had such issues, and what are the odds of this kind of problem occurring again?

A BTC transfer is a very simple process and it is difficult for me to see what could cause that kind of delays.

Waiting over an hour here.  Started to freak out before I saw these threads.  I thought I sent up red flags or something because I used a different address than I normally do and did it from a different IP address.  But nope, just slow.....  I had to reneg on a transaction with a guy because I didn't have the bitcoins.  Fucking awesome.

I guess it's just timing.  I've never had a withdrawal from MtGox to take more than just a few seconds.

If you like this post a donation would be nice....  1PhCzA9o1jcwHr7PR4mxea8nJYUJWpKAGb

Besides, It'll drive me crazy trying to figure where it came from.

I ordered a withdrawal multiple blocks ago that wasn't broadcast yet. Very unusual, why delay this? The only reason I can think of is manual security at mass withdrawals. But it's day in Japan, so what should take time there?

I got 2 transactions after ~ 6 hours. I asked support what's up:

"I see more people with withdrawals not working though. Do you have any idea what causes the delay/failed attempts? If there's a normal reason for it, I could help spread the word."

and got back:

"Thank you for letting us know. Our developer is still investigating this issue, but we are making every effort to resolve this. Our apologies once again for the delay and inconvenience caused. Thank you for your kind understanding in this matter.

Thanks,

MtGox.com Team"

Over 12 hours now, no broadcast. Hundreds of coins have currently disappeared for me, this is not something I like to see.

Has anyone had a successful withdrawal lately? What is happening at Gox this time? With a hack once and burned coins another time, silence on the issue is unnerving.

I don't think it's anything as sinister as some suggest. I think they are having cash flow issues, not that it makes it much better - but it seems to be the case, Dwolla withdraws went from taking 1-2 hours to 1-2 days, It seems like nothing is automatic anymore.

"Cash flow issues?" As in not having enough bitcoins to process withdrawals? I sincerely hope not.

I sincerely hope not as well, and again its just a guess - I really have no proof of anything, I just can't think of any other reasons why it has been like this for the greater part of the last month.
