There seems to be a lot of negativity surrounding the subject of AI and the job market, which is understandable with headlines like this:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/oct/08/robot-farm-iron-ox-california

"America's first robot farm replaces humans with 'incredibly intelligent' machines"

but I feel as though this is the wrong way to be looking at the future.

With the development of AI also comes the evolution of blockchain and shared virtual spaces, which will allow for everyone to work in the virtual space regardless of their country of birth to contribute to the development of new experiences, entertainment, educational methods and many other aspects of a virtual life, which is inevitable. The work has just begun.. Demand for surgeons, obstetricians, and technical workers will also still be vital in the physical world.

Thoughts as to other jobs that will remain and new jobs that AI and new technology will create?

I bet manual labor may vanish, at least in countries that can afford fully robotized production plants. Although, most likely it`ll be costly, it's still not certain what will be cheaper in the long run - robots or people.
May be in the end there will be no financial benefit in replacing people with robots and they'll be limited to usage in the most hazardous environments only.
Considering all the talks about AI apocalypse, at some point there should appear some sort of psychologists helping people to get accustomed to the increasing AI presence.
