Thank you for your quick response - greatly appreciated.
I've also seen that some of the hosted mining facilities in the US are at capacity and are still getting huge interest from folks who want their equipment hosted there. I wonder if capacity constraints allows some miners to charge what they want (within reasonability). Could that also be at play here in Canada? Anyway, I guess I should just call some of the more expensive guys, such as Quotecolo and Mining Colocation, to understand why they are charging higher fees (I don't see them active here in the forums).
Two more questions: 1. Are your services/offering still the same as in 2014 when you first initiated this post? 2. How much KWH capacity do you have?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

The services are the same. Nothing has changed besides that we now have more gear under our wings. You mean free capacity? At the moment zero, but we hope to get some more power either this year or the next.

So a S9 doing 13.75Th uses 1.4Kw....So 1.4x 65 = $91.00/Month
Same S9 makes about $5.75/day ...say 170/mon So maybe profit of $60/mon/S9
not bad considering diff and price suck

Just got this e-mail Wondering if it comes from you? Hello fellow miner. Alan here from CryptoBoreas. I hope I'm not being intrusive by e-mailing you directly like this, but in the past you agreed to be added to our customer waiting list. I also don't know if you're still interested in expanding your mining farm or not, but since we're involved in the miner hosting industry we have connections and easily hear about who is offering what and for how much, so I thought I'd share this info with you. I've come across another Canadian company like ours that has some major power capacity available. They have 4 MW ready to be consumed shortly and they told me they can easily expand to the 100 MW range. We're talking big boy data center stuff here. We recognize that we cannot play the game at this level yet so rather than keep you on our waiting list forever I think we'd be doing you a bigger favor if we send you over to them. Being a big data center they are looking for primarily large customers and the last time I talked with them they said 500 mimers minimum but they will try to be flexible for us if need be. Their rates are higher than ours but they have more capacity than we can ever dream of having. Here is their pricing structure: 100-500 miners (150kW-750kW) - CAD $95 (full service, includes all taxes (with sales tax)), CAD $50 installation per miner, 3 month full prepayment, 1 year agreement 501-2,500 miners (751kW-3,750kW) - CAD $85 (full service, includes all taxes (with sales tax)), CAD $50 installation per miner, 3 month full prepayment, 1 year agreement 2,501-5,000 miners (3,751kW-7,500kW) - CAD $80 (full service, includes all taxes (with sales tax)), CAD $35 installation per miner, 3 month full prepayment, 1 year agreement 5,001-10,000 miners (7,501kW-15,000kW) - CAD $75 (full service, includes all taxes (with sales tax)), CAD $25 installation per miner, 3 month full prepayment, 1 year agreement 10,000+ miners (15,000+ kW) - special rates that you'll have to negotiate We have due diligence info on this company and the people behind it along with pictures of their facility. We are of course going to share this with you if you request it. If you are interested in pursuing this further you can either e-mail me here or you can hit me up on Telegram via this link: https://t.me/btc_guruHappy mining! Cheers, Alan EDIT: Yes, I see it is.

Are you guys having some power or internet connectivity problems? I see several of my units down and it's hard to think they would all fail at the same time. Funny that my flaky unit with 2 dead boards is still online...more likely it's a bad controller board. What do you charge to swap out a new controller board..I have a spare to send soon with my next batch.

There is a power outage in the Wabush area. I'm waiting for NL Hydro to fix it and hopefully that will happen soon. In the future if you are curious to know whether an outage is caused by power issues checkout the NL Hydro power outage status page: https://my.nlhydro.com/portal/PreLogOutages.aspxWe do not charge anything to swap the controller so just send us another one and we'll swap it out. Oh btw in the future please e-mail our support e-mail address instead of posting here if you want a faster response time. I am on the road at the moment and it just happened to be that I had access to a laptop otherwise I would not be able to reply to forum postings. Cheers!

Update: We now have a bunch of available capacity available as we are phasing out S9s. If you have S17s or similar newer gen hardware to host send them our way.

I have sent you an email (through your website), but does this mean you are no longer accepting S9s from new customers? Or that you are phasing out your own equipment...
