Do we really need another coin with no real world use?
I am currently mining scrypt-n, GPU coin, looks promising. Low difficulty, and if you can't sell for a good price, you can buy mining equipment with it.

With Keccak? For those who have some old FPGA from earlier Bitcoin days, yes. For GPU farmers? Nope...
As a GPU guy, I want Scrypt with N>1024 (preferably even higher than Vertcon's) and I also like X11 (even though I still have some minor unresolved problem with it's mining).

By the way, I still have millions of HexCoin, so I am not sure if I need more unsellable meth.

Always nay sayers...Anywho, this coin will be fun to mine, trade and chat about..I'm in. Crypto mining should be fun as well, not all about profits! Now, I am all set up and ready to...except I need some advice. Can I use a *.conf file to mine with this version of CGminer? If so, what is the command line? Same as the 3.7.2 CGminer conf files I use now? ex: "cgminer -c cgminer.conf"  and will Keccak (sounds like a vomit reducing medicine) allow dual GPU's in one miner simultaneously? THanks for anyone's help and suggestions. ENJOY THE RUSH!

There is now an updated version of cgminer based on 3.7.2 (kalroth cgminer 3.7.3) with support for MaxCoin’s keccak (SHA-3) algorithm that is more stable and optimized than the previously available cgminer 3.6.6 with keccak support. So if you are still using the old version 3.6.6 of cgminer with keccak support, then you better update to the new cgminer 3.7.3 kalroth release for mining MaxCoins (MAX).

Now I'm more confused. I have bamt 1.6, which has kalroth cgminer 3.7.2. Should I upgrade it and how and if I do, can I use the miner just as I used with other coins also?
