And even they don't do so: well just have to create 20 account and post each one ponzi thread..
And make the gambling first page : ponzi ponzi ponzi ponzi ponzi ponzi ponzi ponzi ...
at this time, there are 34 THREAD on gambling first page, 11 ARE PONZI
which is 32% of threads. how hilarious it is.

Nope, the mods have ruled that if a ponzi has a website, it's allowed in this section.

Edit: I've been advised that it is the admins that have ruled that, not the mods.

I don't see the problem with just creating a subsection for ponzi (and another one for promotions/bonuses/whatever that old casinos run)

This really sucks, one way to get admin to listen, is to threat them directy.  Theymos can lose hosting.  Simply if the Admin is allowing the newbies to have there way over us older members, why should we give a $$#$ also?

Please keep these anti-ponzi threads active so we can put an end to the ponzi madness. At the time of writing this, 5 or so threads have been moved but still 10 out of 40 = 25% of the posts in this section are ponzi scams!

And this is after the admins actually moved 5+ threads away. Unfortunately it might just be even more profitable to post more ponzi threads if the admins remove the old ones.

That's what I'm saying, why not put investment scemes, pyramids and ponzis in a separate section for investment scemes, pyramids and ponzis?

They are being shortsighted. These ponzis are killing the gambling section.

So we will have to keep good threads active and bury those ponzis. And report the ones that don't have proper pages etc.

I agree.

As @BitcoinINV says: They need their own subsection, it would be the simple and logical solution.

I may be new on this board, but I've invested alot of time into my provably fair 3D virtual reality bitcoin gaming experience.

I'm a little disheartened that the gambling section seems spammed with games that can be created in 5 mins.

I'm not saying ponzi games should be banned, far from it, if they want more exposure then let them advertise and help pay server costs.

Exactly we spend money and time on our games when these jerkoffs are just using a open source file they got of sourcfordge... Then they recycle the same bitcoins over and over to make it seem like its legit

I think this is not really a valid argument. The fact that ponzi scemes are not really gambling is sufficient for them to be kept out of here though.

@RiverBoatBTC,

Yes, I'm sure all other hardworking game devs/site-owners are in agreement. It is frustrating!! Embarrassed

@all

So there does now exist a gambling child section: "games & rounds".

I think there should be another child section called simply: "ponzis", they should be happy, get their own place, after all ponzis are great yes? (

Mathematically we all know that a ponzi is untenable long term without an infinite userbase. I'm fine with that, risk is risk, luck is luck, and in a way you are simply gambling when entering a ponzi, hoping to get ROI before it dies.

But if one analyses current ponzis then we see that the "house edge" is undetermined and very high. of course it's a noisy analysis as the mechanism that always plays out is:

ponzi starts

users deposit

ponzi runs for a bit

and its gone!

It's certainly very frustrating when many of us go out of our way to ensure fair-play and make an honest go of it.

The section seems a little bit more cleaned up although there are still a good bit of ponzi threads.

Hopefully users will stop participating in them altogether so that they can die out.
