Many ICOs that is built in the ETH chain is now shifting to other chains. They said this is due to high transaction fees on the ETH network. One of them is to shift to EOS.

So I search for how to create an EOS wallet and surprised on how difficult it is. I know there is an easier way like installing a mobile app EOS Lynx. But I want to keep the private key on my hardware wallet.

I saw Ledger's instruction, which is easy. But I have not tried yet because I will need to set a PayPal account, to pay for EOS account creation, so I can create a public address.

So I researched for another solution, but still will need to pay (seems a part of the EOS system). Accepting that, I encountered a Reddit post with all the scatter thing and technical stuff, I began to suspect my understanding on the Ledger's instruction.

So if there is some who can help with a more clear and easy way to do it, it will be much appreciated.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Which ICO changed to EOS? I did not even know that there was some ICO using the buggy and centralized EOS.
Anyway, I think you'd be better off asking about it on the official project topic.

You have to use Fairy Wallet with EOS and Ledger if I recall correctly. There are many steps to getting it set up. Imagine going through all that bother and expense to secure your private keys, when your EOS can just be stolen or seized by the Block Producers at any time.

If true then why ICOs turn down ETH and switch to EOS?

I hope they check out these kinds of problems. If I can recall it correctly they shift to EOS because payment is much cheaper and transfer is much faster.

Because most ICOs are even bigger scams than EOS is. They don't care that EOS is a centralized, vote manipulating, colluding, inflationary piece of trash. As long as they can quickly cash out all their ICO funds and exit scam on all the newbies who sent them money, they are happy.

Wow, that's actually sad to hear. So are you saying that those who uses EOS is a scam ICO?

Not necessarily. But most ICOs are scams, regardless of the platform they use, and EOS is designed solely to make profit for the 21 Block Producers who commit fraud and vote manipulation to cement their profit making status at the expense of all EOS holders.

EOS is the main competitor of Ethereum, its capacity of blockchain is much higher than it has.
