Hi all. I've been checked out of the cryptocurrency world for a couple years.

Anyone kind enough to give me a bit of a Sparknotes version on what's happened?

A new kind of collectible... The KryptoKaps are coming... Pre-orders have shipped! Thanks everyone!

Bitcoin has already grown by leaps and bounds. And right now, it is trading at the $4,000 level already after reaching almost $5,000 level many days ago. The retreat was due to the recent ICO ban by China and the continuing rumor that eventually China will also be banning the whole of Bitcoin.

Last August there was the hard fork and a split (due to the implemented SegWit) resulting into a new altcoin called BitcoinCash (BCH). This coming November there can also be another hard fork though it is not sure yet if another altcoin can be issued.

There are so many things going on for Bitcoin right now but there seems to be a gloomy cloud due to the many bad news coming from China.
