When u posted in ESP thread i saw your maintaining this coin now Smiley
you should talk to DPorn, they are slowly getting established in this emerging crypto+adult industry, and maybe all they are missing is some kind of partnership with an established chain (titcoin?)

Thanks for the hint!  Smiley  I will contact them and see what comes out of it.  Wink  Do you know if they have an email address or contact form? I can't find anything on their homepage lol.

idk, maybe something could work, projects need to try work together within their subject matter, so many fragmented ideas/coins : /

Yes you are right, it's a real problem and is exactly the problem why blockchains themselves carry no value any more. There is a "blockchain inflation" similar to how coins on a chain have inflation.

They are active in discord, discord.gg/r572RNp,<---- NSFW
i only spent a bit of time on there websites as it has many titties and i have many kiddies hehe so im not sure of any other contact info then discord :p
but ya man i definitally agree on what your saying about blockchain inflation : / guess thats why most projects have quieted down now ye..

Thanks, CjMapope about the mention! We've been contacted by Titcoin team via PM. Gandalf86 we'll respond back shortly. The way we see it any chain in the adult blockchain space isn't a competitor but a compliment and always looking to see how we can work together. Titcoin is one of the oldest and well known adult token out there. We are working with the Bare team ( they have a thread on here somewhere ) , so we'll see what we can do for sure. Thanks for getting us in touch! Grin

Is this Bare coin thread by the same bare team you are working with?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5149503.0

Yes, that is correct. We are trying to see how we can work together too.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Hello everyone, here are a few Titcoin news for you!  Cheesy

  • Titcoin flair assignment on r/ShowMyTitCoin is automatically done via Automoderator now. This will scale much better when more girls start providing a Titcoin address and removes the ability of users to wrongfully add a Titcoin flair to their post.
  • There is somebody selling 1 million TIT on Reddit, check out this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/showmytitcoin/comments/dvpr9g/sell_i_sell_1_million_titcoins_whats_your_best/
  • We need more miners who mine steadily, unfortunately the chain and payments get delayed when miners are jumping on and off the coin frequently. If you can provide some continuous mining power, you can support this project by throwing some hashes onto the network.  Wink The difficulty is very low so every small but steady mining power matters.  Smiley

We are working on it ...

Our Chrysolite Dev (Development) Mine is testing the daemon and stratum, and will be committing it to the main (Production) Chrysolite Mine once testing is done.

I am back on by the way Wink

Nice!
If it's miners you are specifically looking for right now, have you considered switching to a more GPU friendly algo?
i'm sure many people could maybe throw a card or two at it, but who has a SHA256 machine close by anymore? Cheesy we all moved to dc's and are stuck mining BTC 24/7 for a hope of a ROI someday Tongue Tongue
sorry if you mentioned by a reasoning why as to TIT has stayed SHA2d

Definitely a valid point, you are not the first one suggesting to move to a different algorithm. My view on this is that anyone who is mining can also mine a different coin which is more profitable, and trade the returns for SHA256 hashes on a mining rental site like Nicehash. So the algorithm ultimately doesn't matter! The network hash rate as such does not matter because it depends on the algorithm, the only thing matters is the amount of MONEY being spent on mining (regardless of whether it is in the form of electricity expenses at home, or rented hashes). That is analogous to how the price per unit of a coin does not matter because it depends on the supply, the only thing that is relevant is the total market capitalization.

So with the parameters of algorithm and network hashes being summarized as "mining costs", the remaining relevant parameters are:
  • Number of people mining (so that not a single person has >50% of the power)
  • Continuity of mining power, as opposed to jumping on and off the network (this balances itself out as the number of miners grows).

Expenses for buying mining equipment are one-time payments and therefore don't appear in this calculation, but then again, instead of buying mining equipment one can also simply rent very cheap hashes on various sites nowadays. In that sense, using SHA256 is actually beneficial because it is the most widespread algorithm due to Bitcoin.

In my view, mining is simply a different form of investing - you spend money/electricity and you get back coins - so for real profits you have to carefully select altcoins to invest in, whose value might rise in the future.

Does that make sense?  Smiley

ahh ok, ya i get what your saying Smiley  i noticed diff retarget is every block anyways so not like you have to worry about it getting left at a high diff by some asshat Tongue
ultimately, if people had those Sidehack miners, USB or Terminus, they would be great to have on tit, maybe thats what IS on it, 215gh/s network hash it looks like
i need to break out my old USB miners Cheesy haha

I'd like to say thanks to whoever is mining now! During the last few days we've had a continuous base network mining power of 150-200 gH/s, which helps the chain to run smoothly!  Smiley Obviously at this difficulty Titcoin is not suitable for real-world transactions but for tipping girls on https://www.reddit.com/r/showmytitcoin this is perfectly fine.  Wink

There's also one change on the wiki page (https://www.reddit.com/r/showmytitcoin/wiki/index). I have declared Titcoin explicitly to be a toy currency for porn here. This is due to the fact that the difficulty is so low and we don't have any reliable crypto exchanges atm. So this helps newcomers to get the right intuition about Titcoin and not think it is trying to become the next Bitcoin (which would be a ridiculous claim anyways, obviously).

Also I think that taking things less seriously can actually increase the chance of adoption. People are most likely to adopt a cryptocurrency like Titcoin for fun, but if there is financial interest involved then many people will avoid it (due to being "shady" or whatever). Let me know what you think about this.  Smiley

Hello everyone,

the block explorer at https://www.blockexperts.com/tit needs a renewal once again. Before I pay the explorer, would anyone else here be interested in contributing to the block explorer? It has been a very reliable service and has many nice features a historical graph display of the difficulty and mining power.  Cool

The current price is 0.0022 BTC per month. If you would like to fund the block explorer for a few months that would a great opportunity to contribute to Titcoin and help the project to thrive and survive.  Wink  If you would like to help, you can make a post here or directly pay the block explorer via the link in the yellow box on the explorer page.

Please check out our Reddit community at https://www.reddit.com/r/showmytitcoin/ and join our community chat room over there!

Titcoin News

Hello everyone, here are the current news for Titcoin!  Cheesy

  • The block explorer is extended and fully operational.
  • The hash rate is good but somewhat unsteady. If you decide to start mining Titcoin, please run it 24/7 and don't just mine for an hour.  Wink
  • Here is a nice double tit drop by our community member Eliza posted yesterday! If you like it, maybe drop her some Titcoins in return!  Smiley
  • My roadmap for 2020 includes adding an automated Titcoin bot for Reddit that can be funded by users and rewards the highest voted post on our subreddit each day! This will scale well and will encourage community participation.
  • I'm working on a new website that will be easier to maintain than the current one. It will be even more minimalistic and should only serve as a starting point for diving into the actual Titcoin communities like the one on Reddit. The benefit will be that it will be easier to keep up-to-date so it will always include the most recent information.

That's basically it, feel free to comment or make suggestions, every idea is welcome!  Smiley

The new website is online at https://titcoin.github.io/ now. Cool

It is based on a native Github Pages theme, which makes it substantially easier to maintain and update than the previous version, which required a local CMS on my side. If you would like to make a suggestion or would like to see certain information being added, let me know!  Smiley

Hi guys,

I'm very happy to say that I got my Discord account back, so the Titcoin Discord is active and maintained again!  Smiley  https://discord.gg/PADaP7s

We have a community member there who wants to buy 1M Titcoin, so if you want to sell that might be a great opportunity since Yobit is still in maintenance.

Regards, Gandalf86

Hello everyone, here are some Titcoin news!  Cool

Reddit

You can now discuss about Titcoin on Reddit on our new subreddit here: https://www.reddit.com/r/titcoin/  Cool  This subreddit name was taken in 2013, before Titcoin was originally created. Now the moderators seem to be inactive and I have managed to get access to it and open it for the general Titcoin community to discuss about Titcoin.  Smiley

The previous subreddit r/ShowMyTitCoin remains as a place where girls can ask for tips for arbitrary self-made pornography using Titcoin.

Mining

We have been added to this site which offers interesting mining pool stats for Titcoin: https://miningpoolstats.stream/titcoin Check it out!

Mining activity is still relatively low. Please remember that there will be a halving of the block reward during this summer once again, dropping from 4.3125 to 2.15625 coins, which makes Titcoin extremely hard to mine! This is, in a sense, a good thing because it makes the coins more rare and valuable. If you are planning to mine Titcoin, you should start as soon as possible.

Social Media

Our previous community member @DailyTitCoin on Twitter is inactive. If you would like to run a social media account for Titcoin, please get in contact!  Wink  There are people talking about Titcoin on Twitter almost every day, so it would be great to invite them to join us.

I am active on Discord again (https://discord.gg/PADaP7s) and have reshaped the Discord server to be more appealing for no-coiners who mainly come for the nudes and might be marginally interested in crypto. My goal is increasing the adoption of cryptocurrencies in the pornography scene, so I'm looking for ways to get new people interested in cryptocurrency stuff. If you have ideas that you would like to try out, feel free to join us and let's discuss!  Smiley

That's exactly the right question! I have tipped many girls using Titcoin on the ShowMyTitCoin subreddit, and for many of them Titcoin was the first cryptocurrency they have ever used. But large scale adoption is really the main challenge of all altcoins. 95% of altcoins can not be used to buy anything, and that includes Titcoin at the moment.

I am trying really hard to figure out ways how we can build up a community that USES Titcoin for actual stuff!  Cheesy  If you have any ideas or suggestions, please share them. Adoption is really the only thing that is missing yet in order to make Titcoin successful!  Smiley

i think you no need for suggestions  everything you write in website is right way but not easy to make it.

in this list you need to find good partner  website or merchandise to accept titcoin.

-Tipping your favorite amateur pornography creators
-Buying content from premium porn sites
-Tipping on webcam sites
-Buying Titcoin merchandise with Titcoin
-Buying sex toys and lingerie

this list i think harder  cryptocurrency not popular to everyone accept in public yet.

-Enabling women to pay for drinks by showing their tits
-Incentivizing women to show off their tits on social media
-Promoting the use of cryptocurrencies within the adult entertainment scene

and first idea for me is change algo from SHA256d to other algo with asics resistance or cpu only.

for anyone not have asic can mine you coin to make titcoin more miner afterthat list in some exchange.

maybe that make titcoin more popular.

Yes that is right. This is actually pretty simple, but it's a lot of work. We need to:

1) Find sites that might be interested in accepting or integrating crypto
2) Send emails or messages or contact them via social media
3) Explain how Titcoin can help them in their specific case
4) Wait for responses, maybe explain more.

If you would like to help with this, you can join Discord for coordination! We can also make a Github wiki page or Etherpad to collect sites that might be interesting and record their response, so that the same site won't get multiple messages from different people.  Cheesy

One idea I had regarding integrating Titcoin on porn sites was this: Since Titcoin has a block time of only 60 seconds, users could "unblock" premium content by sending coins to a unique address that was dynamically generated on the web server for the specific request. That way they could "pay" for premium content without having to buy a premium membership, or even having to make an account! That would have benefits for both users and site operators.  Cool  Users could freely switch between sites that accept Titcoin and only pay for content they actually want.

and first idea for me is change algo from SHA256d to other algo with asics resistance or cpu only.

You are not the first one to suggest changing the algorithm, but I don't really see a reason to change. Everybody can rent cheap SHA256 hashes from https://www.nicehash.com/ . That's much more price efficient than mining any cryptocurrency at home using your own PC due to electricity costs! And you don't need to buy any equipment.

Yes I am regularly getting in contact with exchanges. Unfortunately many exchanges still want a fee for listing coins, and I spent all of the money that I had reserved for Titcoin on the Novaexchange listing last year. So we will either need to find an exchange that will list Titcoin for free, or find a sponsor who is willing to pay the listing fee. Having an exchange (besides Yobit, which is always in maintenance and never responds to messages) would be great!

maybe im miner that why i think to change algo is the good way im not buy equipment.

this is my opinion it not advice or suggest anything in your project.

some miner like me take some card to mine not popular coin and not think about profit but it make you coin have strong network(yes we think about profit but if it not happen it ok we know risk to mine some alt coin).

i think asic miner focus to top coin like BTC-BCH-BCSV first because asic miner need profit to pay electricity first and people have asic miner is less than people have PC.

and yes we can rent mining power form nicehash but why i want to rent for mine titcoin when i can rent to mine top tier altcoin too and hope for profit.

i think when you have more miner can easy to promote more than tell to everyone want to titcoin go to rent mining power after that when coin popular maybe you change to POS it use less power.

PS.sorry for my English is not good.

You can always mine a more profitable coin, and then sell the coins and use the income to rent Titcoin mining power.  Wink  After all, mining is just a method for investing energy into a cryptocurrency, and money is just a metaphor for energy. Whether you invest energy or money doesn't really matter. Via Nicehash, even people who do not own any mining equipment can mine Titcoin, which seems to be an advantage to me because it increases the amount of people who can mine the coin.

Search for more website that can accept ithink that is the first step.

Thanks for the suggestion!  Smiley You can help with that!
