i think that is a bad news to us because they manipulate the price of it. Actually there are so many people that wanted to the price of it to increase but it only manipulate by others.

somebody who joins the billion dollar market with $20 is not going to even put a dent in it. most of his money is going to be wasted on fees anyways. the problems is they have much more money that $20 because they don't know what risk taking means and there is a lot of them.

fortunately for us each drop that we had in the past 9 months kicked a lot of them out of the market and now we are no longer seeing any of them around.

Thank you for good advice.
In fact, manipulation is very often in media, politics, economy, everything etc.
Since many very young, inexperienced users invest in the different markets, crypto, Forex, stock markets etc. money they can't afford to loose, they are usually very emotional and afraid to loose.
So, it's very easy o influence such investors and manipulate.

99% of the things you read from news sites is not written to manipulate! they are publishing those articles to get clicks and earn money from those clicks. they don't care even if bitcoin dropped to 0 or went to $1 trillion. in both cases their source of income is from those clicks aka the traffic they get.

with that said when the community is desperate for seeing positive news to justify the rise that we are having they start publishing positive news and quote people who said "bitcoin to the moon". and when the community mood is otherwise they start quoting those who said "bitcoin is gonna die".
it is more like moving with the wind rather than wanting to cause the wind!

I actually agree with you. I learned that medias doesn't really care much about anything as long as they get those views and those money from the outside. They attack all sorts of personalities, companies, and even this cryptocurrency to get in touch with the trend and get those money flowing. Although the rumors of whales paying medias to spread bias news is kind of plausible, news that is trending for clicks is still believable to me.

You would have to control a whole bunch of media outlets in order to be able to influence bitcoin's price.
It would be easier with a small market cap coin.

Charts are good only for a predictable market like traditional stocks. For a very volatile market like bitcoin, charts are useless. One bad news is enough to reverse your expected chart outcome.

They don't have any business with any results that they have done, as long as they've got the paychecks then they are good to go, those news who making people to act like crazy are really making impacts inside this industry as we are keep looking for some reason why movements goes to particular side and why things needs to be like that, influence build inside investors minds that if there's some strange movement they needed to know what are those factors that affecting and they always base things from news.

Unfortunately we cannot do anything if there are some peoples manipulating the market.
If we know they are able to manipulate, what we can do is just stay calm and not panicking when the price falling or rising.

Actually this is not surprising. I am absolutely sure that whales "make" such "great" news through their big money and using marginal trading. So we have to always read and follow these news.

We will always encounter such news everyday good or bad about bitcoin. Sometimes we just have to follow our intuition into everything that we invest in. If it's too good to be true then maybe we can do some thorough research about the legitimacy of the news.
