To receive your notifications you need to use a thread which is under the Archive board. Otherwise everything seems to be in order

Yes, I did not receive the notification. I understood. Need to send a non-archival topic.
I changed the board to another. This topic is not in the archive. (Excuse me for my English. I am working on it.)

Can I request an ignore list? I can ignore a user on the forum, but I keep receiving notifications when he misses me and calls for attention:

~cryptohunter has only summoned me five freaking times today alone!

The Pharmacist suggested to boycot his trolling, so it would be really nice to block him from "looking for me".

I see. That thread is supposed to be in the Archive board so that it wouldn't disturb anybody, it should be moved in there, i'll drop the op a pm so he can do it.

All notifications should be sent to private messages. Otherwise, your bot raises outdated topics, litters the forum and increases the load on the servers.

This was discussed i while back, there are daily limits on the amount of private messages you can send, in particular for new accounts, so it wouldn't be viable. There is telegram in any case.

So far using threads within the Archival boards has proved to be fine with the forum moderation, since is not disturbing anyone and there have been no users trying to exploit the bot with bad intents. In this case however it just seems Kriptopsina found inadvertently a bug and had set a thread which actually was not under Archival.

I created a thread for my notifications: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088991.0 with name   Maggiordomo bot thread for TheFuzzStone

After I added two symbols   👁 👁

And now, when somebody mention me or quote my messages I'm receiving notifications only in Telegram. And that is awesome!

Yes there is no feedback from the bot when you change the options, i may have a look and see if there is some easy way to show them in the notification thread. In telegram it's quite easy and i will get it done after the holidays.

Yes make sense as well, is much easier to have that kind of configurations directly on the telegram. I'll look into it

This is a tool. Everyone can use it. The maker of the tool is hardly to blame for misuse. The user is. Please move on, or contact the specific user. Since he is using the bot you can get his attention by just mentionning his nick.
