any way to get this miner to solo mine with the http://address, with a local wallet ?
unfortunately no, this miner doesn't support SOLO mining as any other closed source miner.

does it have to be a winzip zip file??
Please specify your question with more details. Miner compressed with 7z, so you need to have it for unpacking.

Its ok. I found another program to unzip.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Has anyone tried amd memory tweak with this miner?
I didn’t even try to use this memory tweak because it was when using this miner that I watched the termination of some cards due to memory overclocking.
Everything returned to normal after lowering the acceleration, but with such parameters these cards worked fine on other miners. But in general - an excellent and stable miner, thanks a lot to the developer!

Some guys say they meet problems when using this stuff. If it freezes at the start, then try to reduce the acceleration a little. If this does not help at all, then try to reduce the overclocking of the video card or remove it altogether.

This works great on my rx 580,easy to use i just make batch file for mining veil Wink

it didnt worked on my rx580. i have only one rx580 for testing.  maybe my  gpu have problem. because i read  4-5 person they have rx580 and their all gpu's works good

My MSI RX 580 OC 8GB is working great. Do some checks on your GPU, and take it apart to check for capacitor leakage or any other damage on the board. I lost an R9 290 back in the day and the symptoms it showed was sudden freezes, BSOD's, screeching sounds, etc.

What are the temps at idle on yours? Also, what is the full brand and model?

0.16.0 beta
- added wildkeccak algorithm
- added honeycomb algorithm(since 0.15.6 preview - boost up to 5%)
- improved speed on some hashorders for x16-like algorithms(benchmark table now need to be udpdated)
- interface changes, now real difficulty of shares shown and so on

ps: also almost finished xevan(two hashfuncs left to be 100% complete) and continue working on x16

Rainforest... lol.

What speed improvements are we talking about here on x16, andru?
1%? 5% 20%?

You're gonna have to give it a proper turbo, a little bird told me competition isn't sleeping and will give you a run for your money SoonTM! Grin

Will take a look in a day or so, but as I see - again there some private pool with 59MH/s, while public pools are below 1MH/s...

Hard to say, because there is no thing like avg. hashrate for x16r, it always vary from day to day and from coin to coin. But I can say, e.g., that if hashorder starts from Hamsi hashfunc, there is significant boost(like 10% if all other hashfuncs are different, or higher/lower boost if there more green/red). Also I have found some thing, like extreme parameters(--opencl-launch 23x128 for RX570/RX580), where default benchmark give up to 8% boost, but currently investigating this effect.

What the best driver for this miner? I have Crimson Blockchain driver, and for x16r at RX 570 4G only got 6 MH per card.

I'll try to remove it completely in the evening, before I tried to change overclocking values - it didnt work=\

if you don't think it's worth too much then you can delete it and replace it with another one because there are still a number of other methods that can still benefit from mining.
