The Bitcoin RM Team is inviting Coin Teams to join Emerging Coin Index Coalition

We are launching an Emerging Coin Index coalition with 30 emerging coins, including our own coin: BCRM (Bitcoin RM).

ECI is coming soon!

It will be the first ever index that tracks Emerging coins.

• ECI is a tracking coin, like an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF); not a real crypto coin
• ECI is an equal weighted basket of 30 different emerging coins (known as: ECI coins)
• Buying ECI means buying a basket of these 30 coins
• Initially, we will sell ECI coins directly on our website without charging any commission
• In the future, ECI will be listed on Exchanges. Even then, It will be cheaper to buy ECI than 30 coins separately because you will pay a single commission!
• Because ECI is a basket of 30 different coins, it gives users a diversified exposure and a better risk distribution

There is no listing fee to join the coalition. Membership fee for first year is waived. After first year, the membership fee is 100 BCRM/year. ECI is an equal weighted index of 30 emerging alt coins. Open to all coins tracked by CoinGecko (Coin must support RPC protocol. No tokens or derivative coins that depend on another coin's blockchain)

We are planning to create and launch ECI basket units, available for sale to anybody and publish ECI daily prices free on our website.

Initially, customers can purchase ECI units from our website. When an order comes, the individual coin teams will send their coins to the customer directly. Ultimately, we want ECI to trade on Exchanges such that customers can buy and sell ECI directly on Exchanges.

Some coin teams check in everyday activities and even comments to their Github page, while others (such as BCRM) deliberately keep Github code to minimum although they are working behind the scenes. Are you one of those scam devs who will push nonworking code to Github just so you can push several fixes later?

A lot of lazy people call everything scam, because it's much easier to reject something by calling it scam. Why don't you call the entire crypto industry a big scam and get off this forum?

I like this idea - an ETF style 'coin' to provide more security and draw attention to all coins involved. Have there been any additions to the provided list? Also how do you anticipate this coin will be received and/or improve the price action on BCRM and all other respective projects involved? It seems like you'll have a much easier time raising funds that you'll need for listing on bigger exchanges given the bigger pool of resources you'll have to draw from, correct?

I would also like to suggest the following project - Epic, which appears to be just starting out. Not sure if they if they qualify, but they appear to have the same purpose as several of the other coins that are listed, and they use the Mimblewimble algo like Beam

@sandstorm20 Thank you for a constructive post. Epic Coin is already part of ECI. So is Beam. We are actively working on more additions to the list. Except for the first year, member coins pay annual fee in BCRM. It is hard to predict how it will be received. But our best guess is that it would be difficult to sell ECI in the beginning, say for 6-8 months. We have some plans, which we cannot disclose publicly, as to who we will approach for listing. While there is no guarantee that ECI gets listed on an Exchange, we will try everything we can. In theory, we could pay hefty listing fee, split across all members coins. But this is something that every member coin must vote in favor of.

The worst case scenario for ECI is this: We will launch, make ECI available for sale but not a single soul buys ECI. We fail to get listing for ECI on any Exchange. Even in this worst case scenario, all members join hands in educating the community and stand united. For example, we will share information on frauds, scams etc. We will advocate together and self regulate to promote confidence in ECI members. So, even in the worst case scenario, we will make sure that annual membership fee is well worth the money  

The biggest benefit of crypto industry is the ability to reach out to community directly without middlemen. The community gets to decide which crypto venture deserves their time and money.
