i think many folks are been carried away by this current thrend by some people that " sooner or later" altcoins will BOOOM".
i don't think we will see any altcoin again with the recent flock of new altcoins in the markets. nothing is coming but investors should be careful in selecting good tokens and coins to invest in. surely, there are good altcoins out there BUT the Season, No way. we are not seeing any bull market for altcoins .

How sure you are? BTC Dominance atm sitting  68.4% almost hitting up 70%. We cant say that there would be no more alt coin season.
Market can turn upside down or rather alts would join up the rising market but now the confidence is on BTC as usual but who knows
if alt season would come unexpectedly.So its still worth to bag up some good alts.

Once most people believe that and finally dump their alts, altcoin season will come.

It's a phenomenon based on retail hype/greed, nothing fundamental. If Bitcoin ever bubbles again, then altcoins will bubble in the later stages. This is because retail investors who are late to the party pile into altcoins simply because Bitcoin is "too expensive" or "already pumped." These are new investors who haven't learned from the past market cycles.

If there isn't boom at the moment, it doesn't mean that wont be in future. Also there is no guarantee that bitcoin will be major cryptocurrency every time. There are some really promising altcoins, for example Monero is great choice for those who want anonimity. Another great altcoin which was recently created is Grincoin, check more about it yourself.
Also there are a lot of factors too, if there will be created altcoin which will be better than bitcoin and will also be supported by a lot of services, then we may see a boom.
And on another hand, usually altcoins follow to bitcoin because it's major, still it doesn't mean altcoins won't rise without bitcoin's rise.

With this dominance, I'm a bit worried about my altcoin asset.

Still hoping for altcoin season it's coming, I don't have a lot of bitcoin only around 10-20%.

I hate went i selling my altcoin, after that the price spiked up. That's why i don't want to do that's, at least i have bitcoin asset from my portfolio.

The altcoin market is very unpredictable, usually there's some correlation between Bitcoin's price and some major altcoins. However, it seems that Bitcoin is really dominating the crypto scene as we haven't seen the altcoins market making a run as well.

So there could be (1) altcoin investors are putting their funds where the money is right now, which obviously bitcoin, (2) altcoins investors grew tired of those scam ICO or projects who has a lot of potential but just tanks up.

Maybe we will see the altcoin market have it's bull-run, but I doubt it will happen this year.

Why you are saying no altcoins will feel bullish trend? When bitcoin do then most altcoins will you can follow their price chart to see the bullish movement when the price of bitcoin increases.Dominance level of bitcoin increased due to the fact that most people starts to skip investing on the shit coins and tokens so the remaining coins must be having some potential for the investors.

This was the same language of some people some months back as regards bitcoin, some said bitcoin is finished as there is no money again, some said bitcoin would never rise again because it is this and that, but what happened, many of them was surprised to welcome the semi bull run of bitcoin unexpectedly, and that was how those ones missed out till date I guess, if they did not make any move to invest.

Altcoins might be the way they are now like they are dead, but when they will make a sudden move will surprise you, but the only luck you have is that you are still a believer of altcoins, just not a believer of bull run, don’t worry, you will see the magic that the coin you are holding will do when the time for their bull run comes, I am sure you will be here to witness it.
