LQDEX Bridge: An Auxiliary for ETH-based DEX to trade BTC

Decentralized exchanges have many limitations – for example, there is not an easy way to trade assets that are created on a blockchain other than Ethereum. However, a new innovation from LQDEX promises a way for decentralized ETH exchanges to trade BTC.

LQDEX Bridge is intended to serve as an auxiliary for existing decentralized exchanges, like EtherDelta.
LQDEX Bridge enables decentralized exchanges that are specifically trading ERC20 tokens (Radar Relay, Airswap, etc.) to be able to support trading of BTC, LTC and other external blockchain assets.

All of the above transactions using LQDEX Bridge will be trustless.

In the coming weeks, LQDEX co-founder, Yogesh Srihari, will publish the technical details that support LQDEX.

Nice idea to connect  eth with BTC in this way.
Is there a option for other not eth based coins to be listed on LQDEX ?

It would be nice to see some alpha or beta version of exchange,
or maybe some test version first, before main release.

Why do you have to be based on DEX, why not try something new, or what features are more interesting than the existing DEX platform, I think this is interesting to discuss

I think they are using existing DEX because existing DEX don't have the ability to TRADE BTC with ERC20 tokens . Also existing DEX are well established and have liquidity to make it very useful right now.
