Agree mate. In this current market price, i cannot think of others reason of the market beside the price is being manipulated here.
Better to hold your coins than to regret it later because you sold it, because i have done that before. Experience is the best teacher i guess.

no you cannot stop them . you cant stop the whales and other manipulators to move the crypto up and down but you can convert your coins into usdt or fiats , so that your funds wont fluctuate anymore . the only downside of converting your coins to fiat , is that you cannot earn a single profit anymore whenever the cryptos will increase but at least you wont also loose any any cents if you are really conscious about your money .

Yes I agree with you on this. This is very common to see nowadays. The big whales seem to control the entire market. When a coin reaches its peak position they dump their coins so that they can again find an opportunity to buy at low. In this way they continue to earn profits. When the market falls, the other investors panic and start selling thereby cause further downfall.

Until you keep doing trading with bitcoin you will fall into these kind of manipulations because if you keep your funds stable means you can't make money from it but when the people understand that holding longer can eliminate manipulations and will yield good profits.

Again, for newbies and noobs this is a unpleasant discovery, Why because they really now what do and the only thing they wanted to see is to get profits out of this market. But when whales manipulates and started to toy wit the markets, its hard for newbies to understand what's happening, so they either panic and cash out and left, or stay in the market and see how it pans out. So its really a hard lessons and a expensive one.

Now that they got the attention, I'm sure that sooner or later, those newbies/noobs will learn a thing or two on how this works so I hope that they won't fall for the trap again. What they really do is nothing, just HODL and let that panic selling subsides.

This happened to a friend of mine awhile back, actually around Christmas. He took profits and said he has had enough with it and figures it's a dead end road..  I tried to convince him other wise. After the past two months of nothing but good news and every company filing patent's in the multiples. He is convinced he screwed up and its trying to find a good entry point.. I told him now is a great time.. He realized he was wrong, a lot of people don't seem to stay current with news and developments.

That's why everyone needs to learn ownself. By the following someone, you can't do good things. If you spend your valuable time reading, researching the crypto market then one day you will know what is good and what is bad. Most of the newbie people want to follow expert but they don't want to be at least a good leaner. They follow crypto coins predictors, Trading signals and many more. I think you have to use the manipulators at your favor. Small investors are weak on the market, they can only follow others actions to make some good movements, so they have to follow the manipulators... I doubt such things are still happening today. The crypto space is much mature now compared to a few years ago, people already have a better understanding what FUD is so a FUD statement, even if he's an influential person, won't affect the market in general. Sure this influential person can make a small group of people afraid, but he's surely not able to make the price dip, at least not in major markets like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The possible scenario is pump and dump in very small marketcap coin. Just like what McAfee did in the past with his "Coin of the Day" agenda. Many people bought the particular coin, pumping the price, while I'm sure McAfee is selling on that pump. Geez people are so stupid. But still, with all his popularity, McAfee can't make any significant change to major markets.
