It won't happen this year, nor 2019.

I think nothing before summer '20. This downtrend has not finished yet, then we need some consolidation and slowly uptrend to get levels $10k -> $13k -> $15k... etc.

To be fair, it is very likely the downtrend has indeed finished. All signs point to it being finished and Bitcoin currently being in the beginning of its consolidation period in which it starts its turnaround. Look for the slow uptrend to begin before the end of the year. 2019 will be the slow uptrend back to $20k, 2020 will be the next boom.

I think this year is not possible to reach this value, beacusr only three more months to go for this year still the value is in downtrend only. Maybe there is a chance to happen next year. I agree, since the value of some popular coins are now at low, it's probably the time to make some investment but we should be more wise because we don't know what to could be the result of thisbl fluctuation. What we should do is to keep support with the technology because this will definitely boom not this time but sooner.

Finished and entirely spent could take a long time.   Certainly we can say the rate of change has slowed quite alot.   to the point BTC has held quite a stable range for months, it might move more over the next six months but I'm not sure I expect an actual reliable uptrend in 2019

Yeah I agree with you, there are no chances for bitcoin to jump to $20k in the near future. Now there are no huge bumps in the price and the reason is that people are not so interested as they were in the last year. Due to low investment cap and low demand the price will not grow fast and $20k is a big price for bitcoin. Due to the current situation of the market it is clear that it will take long time to hit this level.

In my opinion it is not possible in this year but hope that the coming year will be good for bitcoin price. We will see growth in the price in the next year. I cannot say when will the price hit $20k, but I am hopeful that one day it will happen. Time is not a matter, but we are serious about the use of bitcoin in the future. We want to see bitcoin successful and it possible only people use it.

Exactly, impossibe at current stage. Market is behaving totaly different compared to same period of the last year and I don't think that Bitcoin will reach 20000$ again this year.
All predictions saying it will are more wishful thinking than some real possibility.
For a longer period of time Bitcoin price is staying around 6000$ and 7000$ and I don't think it will move much further from this by the end of this year. Maybe up to 8000$.

If we are lucky it is possible that we could see those prices at the end of 2019, but the most likely scenario is that we are not going to see that price until 2020, I know this is not something that many people want to hear because this means that at least you will have to hold your coins for one more year but that is the way I see it and am preparing for that scenario.

In my opinion, this year will not be going to hit that $20k again, why? because a lot of big investors already lose their trust to bitcoin because of scammers, because a lot of scammers last year use bitcoin that is why bitcoin price make ATH's last year because of multiple big investors put their money in and we all don't know that it is just a strategy of those scammers, after they already get profited scammers withdraw or encash all their profit and just also get all the investments of those multiple investors, so a lot of investors already lose their trust with bitcoin.

In this year there is no chance for growth in the price and I don’t think that it will reach to $10000 till the end of this year. I personally pessimistic about how long it will hit the top since this year seems to be the worst.

The previous bump in the price was totally unnatural and not according to the market cap. In this time there is nothing like that. Now the price is normal and we want normal growth according to the market cap. I strongly believe that the price will increase with the passage of time. I want no big bump in the price so that many people jump in and buy as much as they can and suddenly down to the ground again.

It looks too late for 2018, nothing special will happen, the price will keep the position between $6000 $7000. And for 2019 perhaps for Q2 we will start to see some nice uptrends but still nothing to be super excited about.

That would better if we can see the bull run this December of 2018, and as the last month of the year demand will be as fast as what we've been experiencing last year. If $20k will be achieved the stabilized price will be roaming around on that price as well. More project will be lucky on their profit, and many traders will develop that confident mindset over long term holdings.
