Fine, but visa has been applied to the system of fiat currencies that existed for decades before somebody even thought about visa. It was for fiat like the LN upgrade for Bitcoin.
It's not the visa card system that is faulty but fiat currency that lies at its base.

Most fiat currencies don't live longer than 20 years. Really, google the average lifespan of a fiat currency and you'll see.
