Hello,

Could a moderator or knowledgeable member please advise.

Is there a place on this forum to post competitions?

For example, a competition in which the winner receives a certain amount of a token.

It's not gambling or an investment. It's a contest.

Where would be the appropriate place to post?

Thank you.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Games and Rounds would be the proper place if you ask me.

We dont have any separate section for the altcoin payment based contests except the Bounties section and I would not suggest you to post there because it will immediately be clouded by the massive amount of shitposting that happens in that part of the forum. But maybe some mod would be able to give an even better answer.

Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Gambling >Games and rounds is the best place IMO.

TheUltraElite was few seconds faster than me.

I had a contest too which I posted in Marketplace (I guess, can't remember the exact board) but later it was moved to Games and rounds since then I realized any contest or games should be there.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

Not if it's paying in tokens which he mentions in the op. Games and Rounds is for Bitcoin-only giveaways.

Then I think, the Bounties (Altcoins) would be more appropriate for that.

Yes, since OP mention Token that means  competition thread should post on Bounties (Altcoins) board. Because contest if for Alts coin.

Ah! thanks for the knowledge. Yes, my one was Bitcoin paying contest. Anyway, in these case which one is more appropriate - the board Marketplace (Altcoins) or specifically the child-board Bounties (Altcoins) like cabalism13 and Coolcryptovator suggested?
