May I know what are the pros and cons to have a daily difficulty adjustment vs a 2 week difficulty adjustment since bitcoin is 2016 block (which is 2 weeks) vs if lets say 144 blocks (daily)

@Sefia  This is very good question. This is really about engineering design of NENG on  base difficulty adjustment period.  Nengcoin continues tradition of bitcoin/litecoin/dogecoin on this issue.  In general, the faster the block time, the quicker you want difficulty adjustment, the slower the block time,  you want longer period for difficulty adjustment.

Here are current some stats on bitcoin/litecoin/dogecoin:
 bitcoin adjust base difficulty every 2 weeks and litecoin adjust every 4 days.  Dogecoin adjust base difficulty every 1 day.

Nengcoin is closer to dogecoin, therefore adjust base difficulty for 1 day target  or  every 1440 blocks.  In reality,  the NENG block average time was 2x faster than desired targeted time.   So in average in real life, NENG really adjusted difficulty every half day historically.

Another consideration of this is for good ASIC miners retention issue.  randomSpike has collateral damage for good ASIC miners when a spike block is mined in that for 1 day or 2,  100% of block rewards go to CPU miners and this poses a huge risk to good ASIC miners who provide security and protection on the NENG blockchain.  I would say  good ASIC miners are those rigs that mine NENG 24 hours a day,  7 days a week  providing security for block fee payment in exchange.  If the difficulty adjustment period is too long, then this spike penalty would be too high to piss off those good ASIC miners.  That would not be good.  Good ASIC miners can continue mining NENG even if 1 day or 2 days is nothing after spike,  some days after reset will be huge reward,  some days on spike block mined is nothing, they tend to average out.  This consideration also means that block adjustment period can not be too long in order to entice those good ASIC miners not to leave NENG mining.

Android Phone Dual Mining Nengcoin/Cheetahcoin 2 Day Report

Past 48 hours dual mining Nengcoin/Cheetahcoin in same 4 core android phone with UserLand app.  Dual mining NENG/CHTA works because Cheetah_Cpuminer  for most of times do nothing other than observing the Nengcoin or Cheetahcoin blockchain.  In case of heavy CPU usage for mining, when NENG is mining most likely CHTA is idle, when CHTA is mining using up CPU resources,  NENG is most likely idle also. Only on rare cases when both NENG/CHTA would split the usage of CPU resource mining at same time. Dual mining both would therefore double the reward.

Results:
Cheetahcoin:  400,000 CHTA
Nengcoin:  60,000 NENG

For now, android phone mobile mining is more profitable on Cheetahcoin side rather than Nengcoin side for past 2 days.

Android Phone Dual Mining Nengcoin/Cheetahcoin 24 hours Report

Same 4 core Android phone with UserLand App mining both Nengcoin/Cheetahcoin together simultaneously.  
Results:
Cheetahcoin:  230,000 CHTA
Nengcoin: 40,000 NENG

The phone was not on 24 hours mining. Actually it was used for several hours without mining. But still one day mining result was decent on dual mining.

Both blockchain 24 hours comments:

Cheetahcoin had 140 Th/s big ASIC mining for a short period and then left.  For most of day, Cheetahcoin mining was dominated by CPU solo miners. At some point of day, the domination of CPU mining was 95% and close to 100% at base diff of 1 million, and later at 600k.

Nengcoin blockchain entered into stable phase where the base difficulty has been up or down between 10 and 14.  The CPU miners rewards on NENG has been around 20% of total rewards in recent days.

NENG miner discord @minosoy coded an awesome Android phone fleet mining helper script.   It is very cool that 11 android phone NENG miners automatically send coins to a master reserve wallet outside in raspberry pi.

Hello, I think Nengcoin has a ton of potential with its android mining side of things due to its scalability. I think if we add more tutorials on that side of dev that simplifies the setup up/maintenance we could attract more potential miners with that in mind, I would like to contribute with a script that allows auto sending of coin from multiple wallet nodes to a main wallet of the user's choice. I already wrote it/tested it I would just have to fix the visuals on it.
I tested it on 11 androids that send their rewards to a master raspberry pi every hour with the master sending the accumulated funds to my main wallet every 4 hours. The times can be adjusted by the user.

For the sake of back up of NENG mined coins in android phone wallets, it is important to frequently send out NENG coins to a reserve wallet for back up purpose. The mining wallet in phones (or in computers) tend to fragment quickly and go bad quickly so that every month or two, the emptied bad wallets should be deleted to get a fresh wallet for mining. This tools help a lot for that purpose of backup and management of Android phone fleet of NENG miners.

macOS Big Sur Support on Cheetah CPU Mining
Currently macOS big sur is not supported officially on Nengcoin (NENG) or Cheetahcoin (CHTA). However, it is possible to CPU mine NENG or CHTA using Cheetah_Cpuminer on big sur.

There are two flavors of MacOS big Sur, x64 or M1 chip CPUs

x64 CPUs
x64 based on intel/AMD chip would be easy. Try to install a virtualbox of old macOS Catalina, all should work there. There is also a docker

I want to play devil's advocate here on price. Miners are into profit, cost verses price on USD, what about traders?

I totally understand traders need to profit in swing trade. The more profit the better.

What is best trade on NENG vs DOGE over last one year? I think CHTA is too new, skip here. The best trade is to buy low and sell high(edited)

NENG went 10x on USD, DOGE went 10x on USD too. But they were in different time. The best strategy I would do, if I have 1000 doge start with, buy NENG in 2020, get USD 10x first, then sold NENG recently, buy DOGE to get doge 10x profit. Now I have 100x total performance in two trades on NENG vs DOGE

NENG swing trade might move to CHTA now because Cheetahcoin is more like dogecoin, NENG is more like litecoin.

This also means that when DOGE price is weak in the future, weeks and months, more dogecoin traders want to buy NENG or CHTA or both to get more profit here. When both spike, you trade NENG/CHTA for DOGE.

Ideal trade and best trade is 10x by 10x, you get 100x profit on trading DOGE/NENG/CHTA. I am dreaming.

I think over the long run, Cheetahcoin and Nengcoin can out perform dogecoin much more, 100x 1000x or more. But in short term, it is going to be up or down like this in the past.

Year End Litecoin vs Nengcoin Price Prediction
Litecoin highest price was around $300 USD in 2017. Soon litecoin is likely to surpass this price. My price prediction using Max Keiser as guide. Bitcoin year end $200k USD according to Max, up 5x from here. Litecoin should double that from here, at least 5x from peak. So the litecoin year end price target is $1500 to $3000 USD per LTC price.

Nengcoin should match litecoin price performance at minimum level. Could be far exceed performance of litecoin at leverage of multiple times to hundreds of thousands times more than litecoin performance because Nengcoin is so cheap. Nengcoin is litecoin on leverage, Nengcoin is litecoin on steroids.

Why litecoin should 2x or 4x on performance than bitcoin? Silver always outperform gold in bull market, 2 to 4 times. Litecoin is silver to bitcoin's gold. it is as simple as that

Dispute False Claim by Pi

We noticed some false claims made by Pi  that pi is the first one that is mineable on a phone.  It is false claim by Pi.  In fact we believe pi is scam.

Here is why.  Ask this question, is pi decentralized blockchain?

The answer obvious is no. Pi has no blockchain. They may come up with blockchain, but it says will have some kind of KYC. Have you heard of crypto mining, real mining need KYC?

The best I can say it is kind of "airdrop" Pi is doing airdrop pretending to be "mining". Airdrop is not mining. call it as it is.

Mining is real work. It is your equipment plus electricity cost and your own labor (installation, operation,etc) providing a security to a block chain in exchange for a block reward.

We know it is easy to mine lots of coins of NENG/CHTA in android phones. but that is still lots of competition and competing for block reward while providing a decentralized security. Pi is not it.

The fact of the matter is, undisputably, the world first mobile minable decentralized coin is Nengcoin (NENG).

Diff rose to 0.01. no longer profitable for my GPU solo mining, just shut down My GPU (Nvidia GTX 1050 card), mined 340k NENG in 2 hours of mining. Not bad
