Ethereum is better by a long shot.  BCH is pretty much centralized under control of Bitmain so for my purposes I just can't get behind something like that.  Ethereum has a better track record for Proof of Work in that the production of coins was far more decentralized and available to average people when compared to BCH.  The ICO argument for ethereum is also very valid.  There is just far more infrastructure in place and support for ethereum simply because of the smart contracts and Initial Coin Offerings.

Ethereum is a lot better than bitcoin cash because it is currently the number two and has always been the number two top cryptocurrency. ETH has a smart contract and it has an high-speed blockchain. If you also take into consideration the fact that vitalik buterin the founder of ethereum is tipping intention for a movement to a proof-of-stake consensus algorithm very soon this will surely Skyrocket the value of ethereum because it will be much more faster blockchain to use and projects built on the ethereum blockchain will increase.

Bitcoin cash on the other hand is also a very good project and is solid but I think ethereum is a better investment.

I have never for once trusted in BCH and when i got to know about the split, it was then i concluded its a shit coin with no real use. Therefore, i do not not expect such coin to grow that much, except they find a real usecase for it. This made me not to be surprised when some exchanges announced they were going to delist BCHSV.
