Is there any chance of watch-only addresses (a la Blockchain.info or Armory) being added to Multibit? Would be great if I could keep track of the value I have in cold storage within the client.

Thanks for the great app

I expect that public/ private extended HD keys will be supported in MultiBit HD (perhaps not initially).
This will give this functionality but admittedly not for individual addresses from private keys.

MultiBit HD   Lightweight desktop client.                    Bitcoin Solutions Ltd   Bespoke software. Consultancy.
