I don't think it will be possible, there will certainly be many global currencies created because there will be a lot of economic developments that may in the future use digital currencies and will use both digital currencies and fiat currencies for global currencies.
I think dollars would be the global currency. When ever the dollars price increase or decrease its impact the economy. All the thing become expensive that a poor people can't afford.

If we are talking about having one global currency in the form of cryptocurrency, then the current fiat system should need to crash first so the cryptocurrency can take over. We can't deny that there are drawbacks in cryptocurrency that fiat currency don't have.

When viewed from the development of crypto and the world economy, with the existence of crypto, crypto could become the world currency of the future, maybe this year a little deterred by the existence of various prohibitions in various countries, but I am sure that in the future crypto will make solutions to various state problems.

A single global currency is a much more complicated problem. History recognizes many monetary unions of different sizes, both formal and informal. But with the increasing popularity of bitcoin among modern society, it is not impossible that the world will have a single currency, whether or not it will happen. Time will answer.

You sound pessimistic about it. Don't worry, there will be era where people have known and use bitcoin as the payment system and of course it will be used in the whole world, sooner or later. It is understandable when people start thinking negative about the soar of bitcoin, but there's nothing impossible, who knows if this kinda situation happen not long ahead us? cheer up, and enjoy this moment, don't think too much and put much concern about that.

Globe can't be have one currency because what we seen now a days there are two types of countries developed and developing. Developed countries have dominated power over others. There would be impact over import export business. but there can be benefits also it can make people life easier while travel one place to other.

Of course it is possible to have one global currency. Cryptocurrency can be it someday. The only question is when? Because right now one of the biggest challenges that crypto is facing is adoption. Not everyone can afford it, and not everyone may have an easy time adopting to it.

It is possible but for this a long time period will be required like in simple words it is not looking easy that the world will be having a one global currency like some countries are not allowing other currencies for trade in their countries and the super power countries are making their currency become stronger so it looks like a dream but bitcoin the virtual currency if allowed by the world so it would be called as a one global currency for every one and it will be a stable currency for every one may be after 10 years are more will be the required for this change.

Could you see a future wherein the entire world shares one global currency, be it fiat or crypto? If I think it in a scifi kind of way, it would most probably be some digital currency that could all just use. It doesn't even have to be in this century. Maybe the next?
And why should we, in fact, have a single currency? Each currency and each type of currency has its advantages and disadvantages. Depending on the dignity we are going to use, we choose a specific type of currency. I hope you are not for using a single type of shoe? This is about the same. In addition, if such a large number of states continue to exist in the world, then the varieties of currencies will continue. After all, each state will use its own currency. International or global will be the currency that will be recognized and enshrined in the relevant agreements of states. Due to various factors, I do not think it will be a cryptocurrency.

Yes there’s a possibilities about this thing and maybe it will be Bitcoin, because it cannot be controlled by any goverment. But we need more time for this one, adoption should happen first around the world and its not easy to be done. There’s a lot of circumstances that needs to be address with bitcoin, hopefully governments will do their best about to regulate bitcoin and have a common rules on this.
I think the possibility of it is high but also a long work or progress will be done before it will happen, One global currency will create conflict to some nations who have their own sets of rules and regulations, There are a lot of government that are not into that kind of mindset, But hopefully in the future it will happen.

Yes i agree.Bitcoin has really high chances to be a global currency compared to other currencies but if it will happen,a lot of government regulations will occur.I think it will happen so soon but not this year and the following years.Anyways bitcoin has still a big room for improvements.

it might happen but as well as gathering opinions there will never be only one vote as well as the option there is only one currency in the world, there are some developed countries that have the power in terms of politics, their economy will always be selfish and surely want to be number one, it might be a challenge, because taking a deal is a difficult thing. the support is not evenly distributed, and it seems impossible to leave fiat money.

Everything in this world has a possibility of hapening. It's just that having a global currency means that no one entity can manipulate it fir their own gain and i doubt governments will let go of that control. What i think will happen is like there will be a currency accepted worldwide and a local currency that the government controls.

Every country have their choice of their own currency, they want that their country will be recognized with their own currency, so there is only a little chance that the world would have one global currency, because every country will not approve for that one global currency to be use worldwide.

Bitcoin is such a coin, and in the future Bitcoin will become the world's coin. So it is the most expensive coin and no one can go beyond it. It only takes ten years to achieve.

Personally, I can not imagine what could happen in such a distant future, but do we need a single currency? Why choose only one currency? I believe that we need different methods of payment, different currencies, because each person has his own preferences.

if the world only consists of 1 country or 1 federation, then that might happen. if it still consists of various countries, it will be very difficult to happen.

In my opinion, i don't think there would be one global currency it is because each countries has it's own government policies and laws.
You right, that's a simple but precise reason. it is impossible for the whole world to have only one currency whereas every country has its own government and rules based on their ideology and the state of their society, unless the whole world has only 1 government, but ts not gonna happen No one would accept that, government wants to rule its own society and it is really impossible to have one goals, politics and greedy people will always look for their benefits and it will affect many things including currency and economics, as per now, having one global currency is just a dream and still far from reality. Of course, there are a lot of economic dramas in the world to make every economy in their country improve, look at how the USA government is carrying out trade wars with Turkey and China, it is a form of government policy that wants to make their local currencies have a high exchange rate, so it's not gonna happen the world will only have 1 currency There's should be an other reason bitcoin is tax free so we don't pay any tax while converting it into fiat or sending money. That’s the main reason for me.
