Electrum is all i've ever used and i think it works great.

Just curious what do you think are the main pros and cons of electrum vs other wallets
proof LN isn't Decentralized           official Electron Cash wallet

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I just started with electrum. I like it because it is "instant use", no need to download blockchain. The deterministic addresses can be seen as a disadvantage for some, but it is a good idea to have all your addresses backed up by just a few words. Less chance of loosing funds from one or two new addresses since last wallet backup.

no download, no backup. and it doesn't matter if my computer falls in a vat of acid.

I gave the seed to 2 people who I trust with my life in case I am disabled or when I die.  I almost wrote if I die but that would be stupid.
