Hello everyone, please my former account was hacked and I would like to recover it, I've read about account recovery on the forum and the requirement is a signed message from bitcoin address that you posted publicly. Please I use blockchain.info, is there any way to sign messages on the site?

You can only sign a message from imported address with blockchain.com. It was supposed to be available for all address in the future, they said, but don't know if it is possible since.
Log in your account and go in the settings listing all your addresses and search if you have the option to sign a message

You cannot sign message directly on their site, at least for now. But, if you have backup seeds, just import it to electrum and sign message from there or you can use BIP39 Iancoleman(use it offline) and write your seeds on there and just search your address, import the private key from address that you want to sign to your blockchain wallet via imported address and you will able to sign message from there.

The second way is more risky if your hardware have malware such as keylogger, so the first way is better.

Both ways, first and second are risky if his/her device has malware like keyloggers that's why having strong and updated anti-virus is a huge help.

OP, you're probably referring to having staked an address on this forum, like this thread in Meta. This involves signing from a Bitcoin address you own, and having someone there verify the signed message and quoting it, so that it can't be deleted from records.

It also means you should have done it before your account was hacked, so if you're asking how to sign a message, then you probably haven't done so before... in which case it's pretty pointless to do so now. You could try signing from a Bitcoin address associated with your old account, but it doesn't prove that you owned the address while it was associated with your old account.

Protect your account by staking an address!
Should really be done on earlier times where there are still no problems being faced since signing message wont really be that hard or time consuming. Sometimes people are just lazy or doesnt have time to have a research on how to protect their own addresses. They would only realize when its already too late.

On op, theres no way you can sign message since you wont able to access your account.

If that address is part of blockchain's wallet.signin to that wallet, extract your seeds "if you have that seed ignore this," and follow @cissrawk[1] comment.
Restoring accounts is not a sign/verify of a message. Create a new account is better than trying to recover that account.

Making the signed message can be done on blockchain.info. Btw, blockchain.info has changed to blockchain.com. But the important thing is that you have to post the bitcoin address on this forum in any thread for a long time. If you believe you have published it, then you can learn it in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0.

If you’re importing your seeds, I highly suggest doing so on a new, fresh PC with a wallet such as Electrum installed. Importing seeds and private keys on a computer with other things on it could potentially be risky, even if you have a good antivirus and you have good downloading habits. It does not ever hurt to be too risky with anything related to BTC, especially if you store funds on a wallet.

Repeating post doesn't help at all, you're just rephrasing words what people say, and what do you mean by fresh PC? Literally a new PC? So you want OP to buy first a new one before he can do what you want? As long as he have installed a premium  and updated anti-virus and have fully scanned his device then that's enough you don't have to buy a new pc or reformat your device on doing so.

And to OP if you want people to help you, reply all the asked questions first.

Probably you mean that you import your seed in Electrum BTC wallet not to Ethereum which is not wallet. Next step is to follow this instruction Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords , and an extra step is to open thread in Meta which will include your signed message so in this way DT members can tag your account as stolen/hacked and mods can ban your account until the time that you are get it back.
