Nice to see the recent uptrend in ArtByte's market capitalization. It may be the sign that people are realizing ABY's true potential, in helping artists and musicians alike.

This will be a profitable journey for those early holders of ABY, and I believe that it could become greater if it continues with active development and innovation. All we need is just to spread the word out there about ArtByte, and the people will come by.

Nevertheless, while I'm excited about ArtByte's movement on the market, I would love to see some new and exciting features for it during the upcoming months. One thing that I've been looking forward to see is if ABY would implement the masternodes feature, as it would encourage anyone to support the cryptocurrency with their nodes, while at the same time have a positive effect in price as a result of the demand that there would be for it. But this is only a suggestion.

You mention that you will use API to convert BTC purchases to ABY - so this works like a buy-back off the market, which will increase ABY price. Sounds good for supporting the market.

With no music download sites accepting Bitcoin, ArtByte Music Store is the only site currently accepting digital currency (ArtBytes) for music downloads. ArtByte announced today that it is adding the ability to accept Bitcoin as well.

The site will use an API that converts any Bitcoin purchases to ArtBytes, which are deposited in the musicians ArtByte wallet. The addition of BTC payments will provide an additional service to musicians as well as introducing bitcoiners to ArtByte

Yes, all is working on the site. I checked your wife's listing. I recommend you guys go in and drop the prices to reflect current ABY market value. Until recently, ArtByte was not worth enough to have the music site pricing fluctuate with the market. We are working on the api for the price to be tied with the market.

There are now many large pools where you can mine ArtByte. To benefit those who want to use the official pool, we have removed the 2% fee, so no fee is charged.

The official pool pays a bonus to every account in the pool. The bonus is the same regardless of the hash power you use to mine. We pay the bonus on every block mined by the pool.


So for example:

Miners using the wallet on a typical laptop get 10 - 15 khs, and can mine about 100 ABY per day
The largest miners on the pool get up to 1ghs, and mine thousands of ABY per day.

Our bonus is the same for each size of account, so for example if the bonus is 0.2 ABY per block (and the pool mines 500 blocks per day, each account gets a bonus of 100 ABY per day.
For our miners using the wallet to mine, that can double the number of ABY to 200 per day.

The bonus is paid by the AppleByte Foundation, and is not taken from anyone's share.
These estimates are approximate & can change based on the number of miners.

I have cloned dogecoin (for testing), everything works so far, coins are mining on two virtual servers. I compiled the testcoin-qt wallet, no problems, but when the wallet starts to sync, it says it is at 1300 out of 106000 total blocks. Since there are only 1300 blocks today, where is the 106000 number coming from? Was it somewhere in the dogecoin code, when I cloned it? How can it be fixed? This is making the syncing process take several days.
