It has gone up since I started mining, but slowly. Network hashrate is still quite low.

yup looks like its moving up just not reflected in the wallets "mininginfo"

Don't forget that the website port is not 80 but 8080 as seen on github.


pool. blabla has been updated to     poolserver. blabla   as the stratum pool address . ( pool. blabla was directing to a wrong IP and I could not update it ....  ( DNS bug ?!?! ) )



Pool was down for configuration changes. It should be up and working now. I also upgraded the server to be more responsive ans support more users. See ports and stratum address on github repo here : https://github.com/MerlinMagic2018/electrocash

So I got banned for security reasons........ was trying to change the speed at which difficulty increases.... made a new account.


The blocs were mined way too fast... There was a ''bug'' in chainparams.cpp, I updated some values so that the difficulty will rise faster as hashrate rise.

I'm deeply sorry for those who mined already, didn't mean to piss you off......

The mainnet will reset and will be relaunched within the hour. I will post an update when it will be ready.

mainnet will relaunch in about 1 to 2 hours

We are compiling the new binaries right now. Some values has been changed in chainparams.cpp

( https://github.com/MerlinMagic2018/electrocash/blob/master/src/chainparams.cpp at line 89 and 90 )    

The mining difficulty will scale better as more hash power hit the mainnet. ( It will rise faster )

I will post updated nodes IPs and updated binaries when it will be ready.

Well not really... it's mostly important for the electrocash daemon ( electrocashd ) , since the difficulty will increase faster than before.

But updated wallet and cli with the right electrocash.conf file ( with the updated nodes IPs ) will be posted in a few minutes !

Main change : The difficulty increase will scale much faster to network hash rate. In version 1.0, too much hashing power resulted in super fast block time, rejected shares for powerfull workers, and no share at all for smaller workers. Now it will be more balanced as the blockchain progress.
