Well, we can't blame people trying hard and hoping just to get even a single merit and rank up but this OP was obviously attempting to get smerit by creating a thread post and advice people. Why you should not apply on your side to gain a smerit?

@ OP, mate just forget merit system for a while instead of chasing smerit try to have a good post and try your best to contribute a good quality post that giving good information to others, then probably without knowing you someone putting merit on your post.

Cuz these people are 'theoretical scientists', Their work is all based around theories, not action And if I remember correctly this is the 5th post I have seen on the same topic of 'earning merit'.

But its similar to a homeless person telling people how to become millionaires..

Or a friend who gives relationship advice who never has been in a relationship. Compare them however you like But they are Geniuses
