dev @ShaY made an announcement on discord just minutes before deleting the server:

It went something like: We haven't succeeded in selling anything in pre-sale(though @DATADEV have earlier claimed to sell a mn for 0.3BTC) we really tried and we are sorry. something like that.
I guess that not many poeple got a chance to read it though.

The tough conclusion: this was obviously a scam, from top to bottom.

EDIT: regarding a possible community takeover, you would need to secure the 400mil pre-mine.

I had some hopes of seeting up my first masternode with this coin since mining coins was relatively easy.
I mined with one rig last weekend for 3 days and got all the coins needed, would you pay the amount of btc they asked for something so easily mineable?

This coin was is young so i highly doubt anyone will pick up this coin and develop it.

It was easy to mine and unrealistically expensive in pre-sale.

They asked 100 sats per shdb , which was quite frankly ludicrous.

Think about that for a second. the block reward was POW-2000 POS-2000 and MN-6000. So 1 block of an entirely unknown and completely unproven coin should supposedly have been worth between 200-600k sats, or 12-36$.

Early on there were some very serious problems with the wallet software where instead of receiving a POS-reward of 2000 some of us saw 4400shdb magically disappear from wallet.

I was promised a refund for that, but it never happened. I was trying to sell some at one point for 50 sats I think, resulting in an instant complaint message from dev @Mairon accusing me of devaluing their fantastic asset.

Let's get real people. This was nothing but a quick cash grab exit scam. Red flags everywhere.

Let us take comfort in the fact that they did not amass a lot of funds.
