Currently, ShapeShift is limited to 34 supported cryptocurrencies while FAA.ST supports over 100 at this time. If building a strong, diversified portfolio is your goal, will Faast much better way to choose? Share your thoughts here.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I've never heard of them before until now and It looks interesting. Putting the supported coins aside, the ability to spend directly from your wallet is a definitely a good feature.

Searching up for their ANN thread which is on here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1995194.0 and it seems this is quite old but didnt hear about this stuff.
Really good to have 100 coins for you to able to swap on but wont easily trust up services which doesnt really have much feedback.I'll rather use changely than into this one.

Interesting. It's a old exchange service but I haven't heard it before. Since Shapeshift.io has change a lot of their policies, I echo the same sentiments of most members to look for alternatives. So far Changelly got my vote but I'm still looking just in case.

Anyone though has tried this service? Any feedback? The ANN thread says its fairly quick plus the fee is small compare to Shapeshift. I will probably try with small amounts and test and see how it pans out.

I want to use it but currently, coins that i want to trade still on "Coming Soon", idk why bitcoin in coming soon too, since it really popular and most of people use it.
I see a lot of coins that currently not available (coming soon status) and looks like it will have more than 200+(or probably 300+) coins and tokens that can trade or exchange on there.

I'm doing steam artwork.Official thread (Indo, but please pm me even if you're english speaker) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5323281

I like their site design a lot. Definitely still pretty far off from shapeshift, though.

With so many trading pairs, if they are legit, they could definitely be a potential replacement or alternative to shapeshift.io.

My primary concern with them though is the same as what happened to shapeshift, which was having to add an account system due to regulatory pressures with everyone needing to conduct KYC in order to trade. This could happen to faa.st in the future as well. Also, we don't know if this site is actually a regulated entity, so you never know. If issues come up, you don't really have a lot of options.
