Romanization of Russian is the process of transliterating the Russian language from the Cyrillic script into the Latin script. Wikipedia

Transliteration table

One more way to shitposting - to write in English text Russian words by means of transliteration.

I do not believe that bitcoin will reach $ 12 now. I kajetsa sales will start a little earlier. With 11 700$ for example.

In this post there is a Russian word "кaжeтcя", written using a distorted transliteration.

It is an excellent and very vdohnovljajuscaja history, but no) Personally, I have little money and I need to study at the Institute, poetomu I can't afford it.

In this post there is a Russian words "вдoxнoвляющaя" and "пoэтoмy", written using a distorted transliteration.

It zapatentovana proprietary technology used by the company. These are two important factor on which bitcoin is better.

In this post there is a Russian word "зaпaтeнтoвaннaя", written using a distorted transliteration.

That happens with some other languages as well.  It is a clear indication that it has been translated using automatic translation tools.

But the rule 27 appears to only apply to local boards.
27. Using automated translation tools to post translated content in Local boards is not allowed.

Unless it is plagiarized (which I have seen before - translated from plagiarized Russian articles or posts) it probably doesn't break the rules or fall under the "low quality" rule.

Unless I misunderstood the point.

I'd consider it borderline "low quality posts". While if something is pointless or garbled nonsense I report it. But I do give a bit of leeway if the author is trying to be part of the conversation but is just struggling with the language.

I use transliterations and posts in local language regularly to detect what language is their primary language and then see if they use translation tools to plagiarize content written in that language.

No, it's not an automatic translation. You misunderstood the meaning of transliteration. Read the Wikipedia article. The link I pointed out. Transliteration is when a Russian word is written in English letters. To read such a word as Russian. Thus, the English text loses its meaning. This is paragraph 1 of the rules.

I've seen it happen sometimes when the original word is not spelled correctly - in these cases e.g. Google Translate often just transliterates the word.

However your examples seem to be deliberate, that's true. In any case I typically report these as "machine-translated garbage" and all those reports have been "good" AFAIK.

For example

English: everything will be fine
Russian: вce бyдeт xopoшo
Transliteration: vse budet horosho

Many operating systems do not have Russian-language support. This is due to the software licensing rules.
Therefore, Russian people communicate in transliteration. To many Russian it is understandable, but for the English it will be just a set of letters

SMS
The maximum length of one SMS message in Cyrillic is 70 characters, and in Latin - 160 characters, which is due to the need for transcoding Smiley
Therefore, in 2000, everyone wrote a text message using translit. This made it possible to save money.
In SMS messages, transliteration is still used.

One problem is that sometimes they write in the English/Generic areas such "set of letters" which are not even translatable with Google Translate, so the ones that don't know Russian cannot help them at all.

I am Russian and I can't fix why it happens? Do the person use an ordinary translator and simply do not notice that some of words got without translation but Romanized? Or that made for purpose, cause of this words in Romanized Russian looks much longer than English version of the word, so the number of letters automatically got bigger.

I think some of those users are possibly bots. Others will translate the text from Russian to English to do posts for signature campaigns but they may not speak English.

Transliterated is nothing new, I'm using Cyrillic and often when I send SMS for example I use Latin the same way. It's just a bad habit.
Some /many/ years ago writing an SMS in Cyrillic was double charged so people begin to use the Latin instead.
When I use the phone I'm a bit lazy in switching in between languages but on the PC, always use the correct alphabet.

But this is quite strange situation here.
As I see it, it was fail automated translation attempt or attempt to hide plagiarism if you try to copy the sentence.

Example >
Quote
It zapatentovana proprietary technology used by the company. These are two important factor on which bitcoin is better.
So why would they write a quite OK English and suddenly they don't know a word, and put a Russian transliteration instead of search for translation.

I sometimes use Google translate for some things and often if you write a word that is spelled wrong it gets automatically transliterated in Latin, same thing happens if the word is not in the google dictionary and cannot translate it.

The other quote >
Quote
It is an excellent and very vdohnovljajuscaja history, but no) Personally, I have little money and I need to study at the Institute, poetomu I can't afford it.

"вдoxнoвляющaя" should be transliterated like vdokhnovlyayushchaya and not like vdohnovljajuscaja and it stands for inspiring.

I'm actually more to believe that they try to hide copy-pasting,plagiarism,translating comments from Russian to English instead of replacing the word they don't know transliterated one.

I Have seen a whole lot of that in the forum in the past, it's not surprising because most people in the forum doesn't speak English and they relay on translators to read and post on the forum and majority of them in that category are bounty related.

I think it would make a lot of sense if the mods can implement language option in the forum.
meaning anyone can choose and set their prefer language on the forum.
The move can help other non speaking  English persons to adapt easily on the forum.

Google translate has many quirks.

I can assure you that those translations are not correct.

The same happens with a lot of Russian translations. (I'm trying to learn Russian) Often Russian has particularly poor translations on google translate.

A lot of words are just Romanized. Slang and colloquial words are particularly hard to get translations for.

Often the whole meaning is lost in the translation.

We are surrounded by legends on this forum. Phenomenal successes and catastrophic failures. Then there are the scams. This forum is a digital museum.

Situation in first post just a mistakes, when you write a word with mistake in machine translators, like Google, Promt, etc. For example, word "good", in Russian "xopoшo", transcription "horosho", but some Russian peoples make a simple mistakes, when writing a words (sic!), and instead of "horosho" write a "harasho", and because of this, machine translator can't translate correctly, and just a return a translit of this word.

All the main news, discussions, competitions are in the English board.
Why load the forum with unnecessary mods? This will affect its performance. Translators are now free and built into most Internet browsers.
The constant use of interpreters hinders development.

If anyone is interested, we can create a topic for those who want to learn Russian.

I think there were mistakes in words, which is why the result is such a bad translation. A lot of people write with mistakes in words. This is due to the complexity of the language as a whole, as well as the poor school skipping.

All of those posts are in the english sections, and should only contain English. Using only my knowledge of the english language, I am not sure what any of those posts are trying to say. I would report them for being in the wrong language.

If the posts were longer or had more effort put into them, or I could otherwise understand what they were saying with the Russian words in the posts, I would leave the posts alone, or possibly suggest that a mod add a translation to the Russian words in a modnote.
