If the issue of addiction has become a national problem particularly as it affects the of the youth in the society then what I will suggest to be done in other to reduce the effect on our teaming youth that supposed to be productive is increase Tax on gambling company and strong regulation policy.

At the moment young people are indeed the biggest percentage owner who is addicted to gambling games, this is inseparable from the many young people who get the ease of accessing gambling games. The gambling game is currently very accessible to the millennial era so that young people become the highest possessor of dominance. But for me, the addiction that young people get is not too severe, it is because mentally that young people have good readiness.

You are right, and I am sure that it will be easy for them to find that way so they can play gambling with secretly. They don't have to worry if their parents know about gambling games and they only need to say that they are playing games only without money involved. I have seen many kids telling that to their parents, and I was shocked that their parents just believe whatever those kids were saying.

So do you think that gambling addiction is good for adults ? not really because addiction is still addiction and it can cause some serious problem if not treated as early as possible  .

it maybe difficult to control it now because it is already an epidemic but we can still do something so that the epidemic wont grow bigger . 

We can do counselling to people especially to the younger ones in regards with the gambling or anything that can cause addiction  .

I agree with this because this is pretty much all we can do about this problem. The people is free to do what they want as long as it's legal anyways.

Also, someone won't really get out from an addiction until something that changes their lives happens to them and they decide to finally work really hard and persist to do it. In this stage is when everybody can do more.

Everyone should have someone to help them because if not the stress and problem will continue to happen. Counseling should happen once the person is in uncontrollable situation that he himself can't stop it because of the urge in his body.
Though there are some suggestions already that told here on how to control or stop yourself from being addicted to playing the gambling.

It is also depend on our parents on how they protect us from addiction. I am also already a parent of 2 so I will not going to make my kids let them get addicted to it especially they are still too young, maybe it also takes more years before they will get involved in gambling but as a daughter of my parents, thank God that even though my mother taught me how to play cards when I was 9, I still know how to control myself that time because I am really hooked in that game that time.

I think young people will not simply go and gamble. For me there are outside influence, like a friend or someone close that introduces them to gambling. Of course, online is accessible, but I seriously doubt that they will just go create an account and gamble, maybe they became curious, but that's not number reason for them.

Younger people are easily influence, and if someone shows them how to gamble online and have easy money, then that is the start of their gambling journey, imho.

I think this is far from reality. Today young people can learn much faster than in the past, say 30 years ago when there was no Internet. I bet there are millions of young people, 14-18 y.o., that are more intelligent than most people of the age group 45+. And hundreds of millions that are at least at the same level of education. Only uneducated person can think of gambling as of the source of the main income and centre all their hopes on it. Even if they dont expect to become rich,the essence of being a youngster but wanted to profit instantly is very alarming,imagine how teenagers now falling from local gambling and the most easiest is the online Games betting when these children’s bet against each others every game battle(specially in asia and almost all third world countries,though even in big countries this is happening)

Hmm, why would you think young people are getting more eager to earn money? I think this is not because of good advertising or the lastest trends bit because of family issues. For me, the main reason for this is the lack of attention from their parents which could be either their parents fail to give their basic needs or their parents deceased that's why they are forced to do easy money yet risky things. Such things tend young ones to become rebel thus can be easily influenced by the bad stuffs in their external environment like different kind of vices including gambling.

You have a point, we can't deny the fact that most of the minors nowadays taking their life not too seriously,, in short easy-go-lucky. They are getting used to being spoiled which makes them think that sustaining life is very easy and not complicated as we think. thats true because when i was on high school i see many students that playing different kinds of gambling in the school campus . other times i can also see them outside of the school playing billiards with money involved  .  even myself i was also addicted to gambling . when you are addicted , you will try to do your bad habits anywhere you like even if its risky .

A typical highschool life back on those days but it seems until now. I remember that I often not go to my class during my highschool days because I'm always either playing billiards or playing DOTA with my friends (bad influence ones like me) and with placing bets of course.

Anyway, past is past. I already stop doing such things and now more focus in building a good future but I'm still grateful with those not so good experiences because I learned many lesson from it and triggered me to make life realizations .

That is why our life is designed to study at the younger age,or we may not control ourselves and addicted to something which makes serious problem but the sad fact is most of the bad habits arose from the surrounding of our school life so having better school may avoid this.

I guess gambling is not just playing poker, dice, sportbook and whatnot, but more on betting. Like you playing billiard with money, it is included in gambling even when you like playing billiards and you continue to gamble on each of your billiard games so you are a real gambling addict. So far the government has only focused on popular gambling as I mentioned before, but they do not shape the character of each person or provide education that every bet is gambling.

The gambling addction(and all other addictions) have something to do with instant gratification.We all want pleasure(and all it's forms) right now(money,sex,power,any dopamine stimulating thing).Learning how to delay pleasure and find pleasure in something creative will cure the addictions that most millenials have for sure.
