How do you spend bitcoins?

Hi guys! I'm a sociology student from Russia and I'm interested how do you usually spend bitcoins, because one pretty smart woman called Viviana Zeliser thinks, that people spend different types of money on different things, for instance, a prostitute will never make a church contribution with 'dirty' money, only with those she earn as a laundress. Does the anonymity and independence of Bitcoin somehow influence your spendings? Does the way of spending depend on how you get the bitcoin (mining, trading or exchange)?
