So another money grab where people attempt to sell their ridiculous cryptocurrency art for exorbitant prices all in the name of promoting the development of blockchain technology? Great. I don't believe that events like this actually do much to promote blockchain, as they show off all the worst aspects of it. Why not celebrate it as a technical achievement, rather than glorifying it with BS art?
I realize there are people who do not like art, you are obviously one of them. But what is wrong in art which promote
BTC? It is just one more positive way of saying to world that
BTC is here, and you can only watch artwork - people who have money might buy something they like and artist will earn some money, it is how world work these days.
Love to hear positive news like this.
How would that be positive news? people will only buy art and those who make art will profit from the sales of their works of art. this will not cause many people to invest in bitcoin.
This is not about how much will someone profit from this, the art exhibition is organized to celebrate the tenth birthday of
BTC and this is not auction of artworks. There are artist who paint cats, dogs, landscapes, space or anything else that can be painted - so why it is strange that we have artists who make paintings with motive of
BTC/blockchain/cryptocurrency?
