I am constantly getting "Illegal memory access " error when running this miner on a specific GTX 1070 Nvidia card. Any ideas what causes this error? The card is running with the following OC setting of core clk +100 and memclk +100. Hardly an aggressive OC setting.

How many 1070 running on your rig?
You should increase the virtual memory and this is might be the reason why you are getting "illegal memory access"

Check this artice and maybe you can get some answer to your problem.

I see....this could possibly explain the intermittent "Illegal memory access" error since my pagefile is 90GB and I am running 11 cards. thanks for the tip!

can i somehow set the fanspeed or the target temp on gminer?

Afraid not. You can set fan speed/target temp using Nvidia Inspector or Afterburner

Need some help. I have 8 x 1070 FE, and what to mine says I should be getting 192 Sols on Beam. I can't get it about low 180s. I'm testing my max clocks, so currently set at +200 core and 0 memory.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

What power limit did you set it at? Your hashrate will depend on the PL% you set. I undervolt my 1070 a lot. So I am getting around 21-23 sols/s per 1070. If you set your cards to +150 core and + 200 memory @70%- 80% power limit, you might just get the 192 sols on Beam.

I was noticing that when I was mining Beam 2 weeks ago.  Hash rate said 16 coins per day but was only achieving 11-12.

What pool? Use Sprakpool. It's PPS+, so your earnings should be more close to what the calculators say.

Hello, Zminer777, I'm using  your gminer in a NAT internal network env, no internet access directly, all my rigs connected to the f2pool via a reverse proxy. The miners terminate every 5 minutes because it can not connect to your dev fee pool. How to make the dev fee successfully in this environment?

Why 1060 3GB won't work with this miner, on cryptodregde miner it work, but low hashrate there.
Can gminer be adjusted for these cards so we can use gminer?
Thanks

Is there a way to get Gminer running on a machine with 2GB memory and 4x1070 8GB cards? Some miners allow sequencing startups to reduce swap, etc. I did not find many options with Gminer other than intensity which does not help.

the algorithm is Beam.
Pls provide your devfee pool URL, then I can setup a reverse proxy to your server and change every rigs's hosts file , to make sure the application run & donate normally.

Greetings and can anyone help me with this. According to miner info, mining Beam we can get: Palit GTX 1060 JetStream 3GB ~13.9 Sol/s. Is there a difference between this card and GeForce GTX 1060 3GB as I keep getting a memory error or are there some special settings I should use? Thank you.

With beam this card only works on Windows 7 or Linux.

@Zminer777

On grin29 mining, v1.46 and v1.47 give 4-5x more rejected shares for the same nodes (ubuntu 16.04, gtx1070 & gtx1070ti, nvidia 415.29, cuda10.0) ... see screenshot:

the green line at the bottom shows rejected shares by the pool. There are almost no rejected shares on v1.45, but many rejected shares on v1.47. Performance is definitely worse on 1.46 and 1.47 compared to 1.45, and with increased power draw and temperature. 1.47 draws 97-98W whereas 1.45 draws 95-96W.

Could you please add an option to use the 1.45 mining engine when you release 1.48 for the new cuckarood29 after the hard fork? Otherwise all of us with gtx1070 and gtx1070ti will be more inneficient and more power hungry.

The pool in the above screenshot is Nicehash (practically 0 rejected shares on v1.45).
