A famous quote says, "As long as greedy people exist, scammers will never go hungry." I think the main reason behind it is that people don't have financial knowledge. If they knew finance, they would first research how the plan generates money and then invest in it, but the majority of people don't have this knowledge and get trapped.

Scammers are playing with the emotions of their victims. And when you talk to a an actual victim, they will said that they indeed have a idea that it could be scammed, but somewhat they are still fascinated of a possible huge returns.

Hahaha...that's the dumbest thing I've ever had. It's foolishness for a victim to know an impending danger, and still fall into it. Does that make any sense at all? Well, possibly spiritually, because some of these scammers are diabolical. No natural explanation could justify this, TBH.

I won't say victims where spiritually manipulated into it because without the declaration of interest on anything the person can never be manipulated. Many have been victims of this before and are still victims now not because they don't know but because they believe it was because they never utilised the opportunity they had.
Many know and understands how this ponzi schemes works and have also developed this idea of keying into it when it drops with the possible hope of gaining from it before it crashes which is why they still have victims if this said ponzi schemes crashes.
Apart from capitalising on those risky opportunities,  I will same some are controlled by greed because it takes only a greedy person to fall into such horrible traps

Honestly this is my first town of hearing about using spiritual forces unto someone to invest into projects like I’m so surprised. I have know of using spiritual forces on somethings but I haven’t heard about cryptocurrency investment (or isn’t it cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme you are referring too?) because it just sounds weird to me, but it quite possible because people can do anything and go far for money without even thinking about the consequences of their decisions.
I prayer we never fall into this set of people’s traps because when we fall for this kind of situations then it will be very difficult to leave unless we are also prayerful or maybe our ancestors are with us 😂.

Greed is the number one thing that this scammers are exposing to a person once he heard that there is a big return their eyes lights up, although in their mind its a scam they will still try to make an excuse like if im early i can exit, but when you are already inside, because of greed you already forget about your plans, most of the time, they have the chance to get out early, but the thing is they will try another one and try to cheat the system which already knew that they will do that, also you will try to recruit others because of the referrals.

My friend once tried to outsmart a Ponzi scheme that way, meaning he tried to follow every program he found, and exit early (in order to avoid getting trapped). Initially, he was successful with these methods and made quite a bit of money, but as we know, he ultimately lost. Why ? Because, he tried to multiply his profits greedily ; that is, by risking all his money.

Some valuable lessons, from the story :

IMO, his mistake was being overconfident in what he was doing, so he didn't realize that there is no such thing as "sure" in a Ponzi scheme. A fraudulent Ponzi scheme could very well be designed to trap all its users, so that no one would ultimately profit. Furthermore, no one knows for sure whether these programs are connected to each other. So, I think they could have all the data on their users, and they could use it to trap users who want to get lucky (exit early), or they have already studied user habits.

Therefore, I urge anyone not to try anything risky, especially if the risks are too high, like most Ponzi schemes. There are so many such programs out there, whether they use crypto or not (I am sure there are still many of them today), and you should avoid them; rather than it being in vain in the end. Cmiiw.

There is no one who cannot identify a ponzi scheme now when they see one, but obviously, greed appears to be a very powerful influence. People truly don't care about the risks, they just build their hope on the expectations of very high profit returns, usually 100% profits or even more. There is nothing like ignorance here, they all know what they are doing.

There are still people who are ignorant, those who are entering adulthood because they are newbies in this kind of scheme, but those who have experienced them and witness those who experienced it will surely know a Ponzi scheme at a first glance.

Now, children have access to the Internet. When any ponzi scheme is launched, the news travel far and wild because of the referral bonuses attached to it too. And when such schemes collapse, it is also not a secret because people openly talk about their losses. So, I am not convinced that there are people who are really doing this out of ignorance even if it is their first time investing.

The new tactics is that they convince you to invest early so before the scheme crashes, you must have exited. These people know what they are doing. I have seen alot of them in my area.

I perfectly understand what you are talking about and I mentioned about greed being one of the reasons why people for victim for ponzi scheme, that being said we are not going to underestimate the importance of this thread, a lot of people are going to gain more knowledge about ponzi scheme through this thread, and I believe people who are reading this thread will also read some replies and I don't think after all that reading, such a person will still fall victim to ponzi scheme, except the individual is just foolish and his greediness is extreme.
I understand the fact that ponzi scheme have been in existence for a very long time however they come with different strategy and that is also another reason why some set of people fall victim, for me the best thing to do is to avoid what seems too good to be true.

Well ponzi will destroy your life and life savings i see people who invest their savings believing that they could triple their savings but lose it in the scheme, there is a another way to earn money although everything needs to work to achieve that if a person wants easy money then there is a chance that he will be the victim of a scheme.
This people are the target of the scheme because they are easily controlled or easily believe something that is impossible to happen, because of greed.

That is the weakness of all scam victims.  The huge returns somehow short-circuit their reasoning, so no matter what they think, they are trapped by that alluring reward.  Scammers know that people will get dazed momentarily once they are offered huge returns but will eventually come to their senses, so they pair this huge return with time pressure, the urgency will put the victim's brain in a state of haywire and confusion. Thus, a successful scam happens.

Most of them are lazy and greedy set of people. They want to multiple their money without working for it, you just want to seat at a place and their money is going to be multiplied, it’s doesn’t really make sense. If it’s easy to make money, people are not going to be working, they will just invest their money, within short period of time their money will have multiplied so many times. It’s high time we know that their is no place you will be able to multiply your money without working or doing anything, if anyone ask you to invest, and they promise you quick return with zero risk, just stay away from investments like that because you are likely going to be scammed.
