There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Why were you using a mixer that has no proven history, no latter of guarantee (to prove the address is owned by them), or not even a escrow? And with such big amount... there are WAY better options.

How do you prove that you really sent the coins to his address?

Create a thread with all informations and evidence in the Scam Accusations board.

You literally can’t prove that you really sent the coins to his address.

I have used this a bunch in the past. Usually 2 or 3 coins per mix. It was reliable. I guess, when a large TX comes through, they rip.

I am a fucking idiot I guess. I have no leg to stand on, you are right.

Bitcoin Laundry has been seen online and didn’t answer anyone yet.

Can you guys create a thread in the Scam Accusations board with all your evidence? Transaction id, screenshots, more details, etc...

You should have checked their trust feedback. They were accused of the same thing twice more than 1 year ago (changing deposit address). One of the users lost 6.2 BTC with that.

[SCAM ALERT] Bitcoin-Laundry.com is a SCAM mixer website

I too have experienced the exact same tactic. I have obtained information on the website thru alternative means, so will see how they respond to my query before proceeding.
