Edited post and title:

It's seems enable trust rating on Bitcoin Discussion board become more important. Scammers are targetting that board to scam people's. For example this post. Because, especially new people's will fall into their trap. Also there is disable trust rating. Since Bitcoin Discussion board is most important board, I don't know why has theymos disabled trust rating. I am not sure what is the problem if show trust rating all over forum? So is it not better to remove trust system ? Trust is for prevent of corruption from forum. After got tagged from DT it will reflect on profile. So what is the meaning of hide from specific board ? In fact every one will able to see once visit his profile. But mostly new people's will not do that, and they will fall into scam. It has been happening. So I will request to enable trust rating on Bitcoin Discussion. If possible it's better to enable all over forum.

I don't know exactly why trust rating hide on Beginners & Help board. Also I try to use search before posting but there is no similar thread (I didn't find).

However as far as I know most of newbie visit on Beginners & Help board. I think they should meet with trust system. I can bet so many people's even don't know trust system. Once newbie will see someone have positive(+) or negative(-) trust, I believe they will try to discover it (IMO). I do not want to shorten anyone, just want to introduce trust system to newbie.

Edit;
I want to request show trust rating on local board also. This come on mind just because of this case. Really tag against of corruptions, so if it's doesn't reflect on local board than may be few people's will fall in scammers trap like I mention above.

Especially if any tagged members try to scam on local board or try to promote scam or ponzi scheme than people's will not aware about it. Perhaps people's just check trust rating when they are going to make trade. I have doubts that most if people don't do this. I noticed few people's got scammed by accoumt saller. But saller already tagged for scam. That's means few people's still don't know to read tagged.

I noticed few local board show trust rating like Chinese, than why not show in all local board ?

Other boards except marketplace do not have anything to do with trust system. You need to see someones trust system if you want to trade with them.
I added a trust system to the marketplace sections. When you're logged in, you'll now see something like this next to Marketplace posts:
Quote
Trust: 1: -0 / +12(3)

Here were some basic guidelines...
Quote
On feedback pages, you can leave trade feedback. There are no rules for this, but here are some guidelines:
- List all of the trades that you do with people (or at least the major ones). This is not like #bitcoin-otc where you give people just one score.
- Do not rate people based on the quality of their posts.
- Older ratings count for more, so don't delete old ratings if you can avoid it.
- "Risked BTC" is how much money you could have lost if the person you're rating had turned out to be a scammer. Or, if they are a scammer, it's how much you lost. Use the BTC value at the time of reporting.
- It's OK to post a rating about the person in general, not tied to a specific trade.
- If you want to make a rating stronger, increase "Risked BTC". 50 extra risked BTC is equivalent to an additional rating.

So clearly trust system introduced to help the traders on the forum.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

You need to see someones trust system if you want to trade with them.
You'll also need to see it if someone advertises a scam in his signature, and I've seen at least one of them post mainly on boards that don't show his red trust ratings.

Does trust system differentiate between scammers and genuine ones?

Those who have positive trust on their profile with , let's say genuine green from also known and trusted person who transacts huge amount of crypto or goods, is a big different with scammers that has red flags( negative trust)  they are tagged, because they have done wrong.

trust sytem always defines and is basically helping; to anybody whom to be trusted in terms of money matters.

So clearly trust system introduced to help the traders on the forum.
There are many questions about the trust system that have not answered.
Although this system is not perfect, it is the only way to be alert of scam.
I would also like to find an answer to my questions about hiding trust in some local boards, especially those related to Altcoin discussion "Signatures campaigns," mining, and hardware.
I'm thinking of bumping "Show "trust" in local boards | Some Child Boards" but I think admins are busy, so I've put it off.

Agree, but wouldn't be easier just to show trust rating on every board? I don't quite understand why is only limited to marketplace + private messages.

Simple logic, if the system is generally considered helpful - show the score on the whole forum. It's not like potential scamers will limit themselves to 'marketplace'.

It seems to me that the system of trust is now at a more advanced level. I will explain.
Trust account can show another member that the opinion of this person is really very valuable. He has a positive trust and has reviews on his personal page.

Also, if the trust of the participant is red, you can study the problem of this participant, if you have doubts about his words in the discussion (topic)
I believe that merit and trust should be visible in all sections of this forum.
This will not be able to hinder the work of the forum and will not be worse.

Up for visibility and added Bitcoin discussion board

Hi mate, you don’t stop, do you? Theymos will have to give you a special badge or something.

Cool man cool. I don't need badge or something. Yes I know it has been discussed. Did you see I have edited post ? And obviously I mention current situation. I believe you are aware about that. There is specific reason I highlighted. For your information, I am working against scam from beginning, feel free to check my profile. My intention is to help people's. Not for badge from theymos or anything. And one more thing, I will continue my work against scam/spam. Not just like others, for rank up. I noticed few people's never expose any thing after rank up.

Just report those posts; they don't belong there. I wouldn't necessarily be against showing trust site-wide, but I get why theymos doesn't want to do so, and it doesn't really need to be in boards like Bitcoin Discussion and Politics. Also, we can't be responsible for every idiot who decides to give their money away and merely showing the negative/positive trust doesn't save people as we can see from the Marketplace.

I think it’s a good idea to show trust ratings site-wide. It’s only my opinion but I think it should be. Certain users should be shamed by their trust score & it should be visible to everybody - See TradeFortress

But then the argument would be why should that effect the content of their posts and be relevant within that board? You can obviously make the argument both ways though and sometimes it is helpful in determining trolls and people who are just being inflammatory because that's all their account is worth now, but there will be then those that just discredit or ignore a persons posts or opinion merely because they have negative feedback. Either way I doubt it's something theymos will change.
