Bitcoin Dominance as the favourite trading pair to continue in 2019

According to a report The dominance of bitcoin as a base pair for trading cryptocurrencies continues in 2019.

Currently, bitcoin is the most favourite trading pair, holding 33% of base pair. followed by Tether with 22% and Ethereum with 12% as per crypto volume traded across the globe.

This proves Bitcoin is the leader in Market dominance. It is one of the most sought after Cryptocurrency and nobody can stop it or replace it.

So, stop asking the question, which Crypto will replace Bitcoin?

I agree 100% with you. Of course it will continue. Also, let's not forget that some people choose the right coin and make insane profits in a short amount of time. I don't recommend it to new people, it's extremely risky, i can't recommend something i'm not willing to do myself.

In the case of ICOs, i support some mostly because of the usefulness it will have. After checking that it is not a scam, of course.

Bitcoin dominance will grow and not only until 2018, but for a long long time. The future of this technology seems extremely brilliant. Now the million dollar question - What will we do with it?

There are too many Negative Post regarding Bitcoin nowdays. This was the main reason I posted this. I understand Freedom of speach, but there is a thin line seperating it with Freedom.

The bitcoin is the first and the most powerful coin in the market. And i believe that it will remain leader forever. If you look at the marketcaps you could see it easly. The bitcoin has %53 marketcap and it is more than 100 billion dollars. The ethereum or ripple is child for BTC. There is no need to talk or ask, no coin will be the bitcoin..

The masterpiece of the one and only legendary "Satoshi Nakamoto" is now being used in many many, different ways and not only for crypto currencies, I saw projects using it as a tool to determine fake whether the medicine is fake or not and this is very useful to everyone. As more and more people are getting to know bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies, crypto markets are get strong. Once the knowledge spreads, so does its acceptance and eventually with higher demand of bitcoins, prices increase.

asking the "next good coin" question is bad by nature because there is no "next" good coin. and someone asking it has no understanding of bitcoin or any of the altcoins.
a new altcoin being good doesn't mean it is "next" and will replace bitcoin.

Bitcoin will never be replaced as the most dominant crypto in the crypto market. There's no other crypto that is trustworthy and has a higher rate of profit if you're doing a long term investment. Three to five years from now I'm pretty sure that bitcoin's value will reach its all time high and I have so much confidence of bitcoin's performance by next year due to increased adoption that has been happening everyday.

It's worth noting that the current dominance was reached without the Bitcoin price new highs, this is relevant as it shows the power of it. It doesn't matter if the entire cryptosphere is in a downtrend because of the bear season, Bitcoin still manages to stay strong and it's dominance sometimes increases with prices still going down.

It shows how much people trust Bitcoin whenever something bad is going on in the market (for instance, massive downtrends, or a bear market). Still, even with a 45% dominance like we saw a few months ago proves how solid Bitcoin is (45% is still a massive number for a single cryptocurrency).
